FACT, Inc. is a non-profit serving the families and children of Marion County, Kansas through partnerships with other service organizations.

A donation to FACT, Inc. will support after school programs in public schools, early childhood services including Parents as Teachers, financial assistance for low-income families, community & parent education, childcare provider scholarships & training, preschool scholarships, mental health consultation services, substance abuse prevention, and community collaboration & resource development. 📖 FACT encourages reading with preschoolers during the month of November!

Since 2005, Kansas Reads to Preschoolers is an annual event that takes place to promote reading to all Kansas kids from birth through age five during the month of November.

This year the chosen book title is, “How Do You Hug A Porcupine?” by Laurie Isop. Join FACT in taking part in this fun activity and find a preschooler to read to!

This week, the Marion County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition (SAPC) is celebrating Red Ribbon Week October 28-31.

Red Ribbon Week is celebrated annually and highlights the importance of living a drug-free life. As in previous years, SAPC is partnering with the surrounding schools and communities in our county. Our goal this week is to engage our youth and adults to increase their knowledge about the harmful effects of drug abuse and commit to living drug-free!
