🎄 All Bibi and Tasha want for Christmas is a forever home together.

These two met in foster care and became instant best friends, and they’ve been bringing out the best in each other ever since.

Bibi came from a cat colony and was very shy at first, but with Tasha by his side, he’s learning that people aren’t so scary. He’s a gentle, toy-loving boy who would thrive in a quiet, patient home where he can take things at his own pace.

Tasha is the definition of Christmas cheer, confident, friendly, and ready to make herself at home anywhere. She loves people, greets guests, investigates everything, and brings fun and courage wherever she goes.

Together, they play, race around the house, and share a special bond that makes us hope their holiday miracle is being adopted as a pair.
🎁 Their wish this season: a loving family who will welcome them both.

That every cat finds a warm, safe, and happy home…especially during these cold winter months. ✨

Whether you’ve donated, fostered, adopted, shared our posts, or cheered us on, you are part of every life we change. You are the reason hope exists for so many cats.

🌟’Twas the Night Before Christmas with Celia! 🌟

’Twas the night before Christmas at Clear Creek Cat Rescue,
Not a creature was stirring… except cats old and new.
The carriers were lined by the doorway with care,
In hopes loving families soon would be there.

The kitties were nestled all snug in their beds,
While dreams of warm laps danced in their heads.
With fosters in pajamas and treats close at hand,
We whispered soft promises and loving plans.

When out in the hallway there arose such a sound,
A hopeful little meow made us turn right around.
Away to the door we hurried that night,
To welcome a soul scared but brave in our sight.

We scooped them up gently, wrapped in a towel,
With purrs (and a hiss or two) starting to growl.
From cold nights outdoors to blankets so tight,
Another life changed on this Christmas night.

Then up to the warm room the kitties all flew,
For full bowls, safe beds, and vet visits too.
And we heard them exclaim with a purr full of cheer,
“Thank you, cat rescuers! Christmas is here!”

Thank you to our amazing donors, fosters, adopters, and supporters you make this work possible and these stories real.
From all of us at Clear Creek Cat Rescue, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! ❤️🐾

All decked out and ready for Santa Claus to bring her a family!

Olive is a sweet, funny-faced girl about 5 years old. She is very affectionate with her people. She loves pets. She very much loves her people.

She does fine with other cats but is not a fan of dogs. She had lived in a family with another cat for years and they did fine but they were not bonded. She would do okay with another easy going cat in the house. Or it seems like she may be fine as the only cat in the house. What she wants more than anything is to have a loving family who will never leave her again.

She will need a place to go outside for little jaunts in the grass next summer. And if she could do that with her people, that would be the best. If you're looking for a very affectionate and sweet girl, Olive would be perfect.

Mel is an adorable spice girl!

She was very spicy at first. Her ‘hello’ was a hiss and then she would lean into your hand for pets. What a transformation she has made with love and patience! As soon as she started to trust her foster mom, she would sit on her lap to give a very quiet purr. Time, love and patience are the key to winning this girl’s heart! A quiet settled home will be best suited for her. Older children will be okay too!

Mel can leap tall cat trees in a single bound, especially when it’s time for wet cat food. She was the first to welcome her new foster brother. She will definitely need one, or two, or three, other kitties to spend time with. She is curious about dogs, but still wary so a mellow easy-going dog will be okay that will give her space. A safe yard to enjoy warm summer days is a must for this gorgeous lady!

She is 5 months old and in Wasilla. Please call 907-350-8089.

Hi my name is Celia and I’m a princess looking for my forever home. I love my food especially the wet food but my foster mom gives me both.

I’m super sweet and pretty and definitely have a mind of my own but if you give me head scratches and pet me I’ll purr away for you. However, I might head butt you if you stop petting me before I’m ready for you to stop. I’m not a huge fan of being held but if you’re nice about it I’ll tolerate it for awhile.

I love high places for looking down. One time after I was trapped far away in Dutch Harbor, I spent quite a long time in the ceiling of the cop shop. All the people just looked up and shook their head. It was hilarious. For me. They didn't seem to be having that much fun. So I don't do that anymore. Now I just hand out at the top of the cat tree and come down to chase the laser lights which is so much fun.

I’m still a little shy despite my royalty so I really need a family who will love me and be patient while I explore and get used to you. I love my foster sisters although the babies can be a little annoying at times. The dog in the house is scared of us so he avoids us as much as possible and I’m fine with that. I’m the prettiest kitty you’ll ever get. Some people say I look just like a Maine C**n. I'm about 6 months old and I'm ready to be spoiled in my forever home.

I'm in Soldotna so please text my foster mom at 907 953-0333

There is still time to make their dreams come true--A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS! AND FOREVER!

What the kitties in foster want more than anything is to find a home and a family who will love and care for them forever. Never to be a stray again. Never lost or abandoned. Never hopelessly alone with no one who loves them.

If you are looking for a cat to be a part of your family, please help make some dreams come true this Christmas. Take a homeless cat into your heart and home.

Pictured are just a few of the cats who have been waiting for you! 😽And there are so many more ❤

UPDATE: Geminid is out of surgery and she's doing great! thanks to VCA East for giving her great care.

This is Geminid! She's about 3 months old and she needs your help!

Geminid was found outside in the bitter cold with a broken front leg and a crushed paw so infected it had pus oozing out. On top of that horrific injury, she was choked up with a bad respiratory infection.

Thankfully, the kind people who found her took her inside and reached out to the community for help. There was no time to lose. We were able to pick her up that night. She was given fluids, antibiotics, yummy wet food and what seemed most important to her, a fluffy, squishy kitty bed that was safe and warm. This girl slept as if she had never slept before. Like the world had just become kind.

VCA East was able to see her quickly and it was fairly obvious that she would need to have her gangrenous leg amputated. There is no choice; it is necessary to save her life.

That's where she is today, at the vet, preparing at this moment for surgery.

The positive side… She’s so young and vibrant, once she heals from the surgery, she is going to do great!

If you can help with the cost of Geminid's amputation, even a few dollars, that would be great. We want to save them all but we cannot continue to take on these difficult and expensive cases without the support of others who care too about the kitties who are in desperate need.

We can take donations via venmo () or paypal ([email protected]), the gold donate button on our website or the donate button on this post. We also accept checks mailed to POB 231208, Anchorage, 99523.

Please help this little girl have the best Christmas present ever--a chance at a great life.

Thank you all for the love!! 😽❤🐈‍⬛

Tiramisu has been patiently waiting for her forever home 🫶🏻

✨ Tiramisu’s adoption has been generously sponsored by her foster mom Kaci ✨

Tiramisu (Terri for short) has been in foster care for quite a while, quietly learning how to feel safe and confident in a home. With lots of love, patience, and gentle care, she’s made beautiful progress. Now relaxing on the bed, stretching out on the couch, and even snuggling up with her foster to watch TV. These milestones mean everything in rescue, especially for a kitty who just needed time.

Now that Terri has found her confidence, she’s hoping it’s finally her turn to find a forever family. She would thrive in a home with one or more outgoing cats and would likely enjoy a friendly dog or two. She loves playing tag with other cats, lounging on the couch, watching the world from her cat tree, and enjoying soft food and treats.

A calm, quiet home is important for her. She’s starting to enjoy the company of respectful teens, but younger children or loud environments wouldn’t be the best fit. Once she’s fully settled, she’ll need safe outdoor access, though she’s currently quite content indoors.

She is around 2 years old.

Located in Soldotna but can get a ride for the right home. Call or text 907-953-0333

We don't want to split them up. But how long do we wait? Tasha is a dream kitty for someone who wants a sociable little furball who will make herself right at home in a minute, greet visitors, explore every nook and cranny in the house for..... dust? whatever is there. Entertain you and your company and be the best little buddy for your nice cats. No problem getting her adopted.

But what about Bibi? He was in foster for over a month, no other cats in the foster home, just dogs who are scary to him, and he was petrified. And then along comes this little scamp, Tasha. And what a change! Tasha told him to get over it, come on out into the house and meet the people, maybe even let them pet them sometimes because, as she explained, people really like to pet kitties. And so, Bibi took her advice and now runs around the house like he lives there and plays and races and is generally a normal family cat. Although he is still not sure about the touching thing, that is getting better all the time.

But how would Bibi do in a strange place without Miss Congeniality with him to explain to their new family that her foster brother is just a little slow on the uptake as far as humans go. He didn't have the same chance she did. He was born outside in a group of cats and it will just take him a little longer to being totally confident that people are good.

So here we are. Two wonderful kitties. One who could walk into about any happy family and instantly be a part of things. And one who will take a bit to accept that this is really safe, and even more than safe......really great.

So for a while longer, we are going to try to get this little odd couple a home and family together. Tasha at about 9 months and Bibi maybe a year. An adorable pair of kitties that, if you let them into your heart, they will never ever be a disappointment. Together.

Scooter! This little guy will “scoot” his way right into your heart! His little kitty "coos" and chill attitude bring a special addition to the home. Scooter loves playing with toys and enjoys snuggling up close. Despite being born with a spinal deformity, he shows little limitations when it comes to climbing the cat tower or jumping into bed at night. He has been checked by the vet and has been given the all clear. He may experience some arthritis later in life and would benefit from a supplement to help with any joint pain. He can move quicker than you can blink when he gets his kitty zoomies or hears the treat container shake. Scooter is so sweet and handsome. He uses a litter box with no concerns and loves his morning wet food and kibble throughout the day. He plays like he’s part of the pack with all 3 dogs and the other cat. He would do best with a kitty friend, and nice dogs are just fine too! He does great with gentle children too. A family that has the time to give him extra love and attention is a must. Since he does drag/scoot on his back leg’s majority of the time gets a quick bath for his backside on a weekly basis which he is very good about. If his new home doesn’t have carpet rugs will need to be provided for him so he can get around the house easily. He deserves to be able to spend some time outside in the fresh air and sunshine, but he will need a home with a safe outdoor enclosure or he will need to supervised all the time he is outside! He is about 1 year old and in Wasilla. Please call 907-350-8089.
