Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a 501c3 non profit dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and rehoming stray, injured, homeless and feral cats.

We rescue and rehome cats primarily in Southcentral Alaska from Houston to Homer. CCCR rescues 500 - 700 cats a year.

Jinx, the perfect mix of calm and affectionate! Originally found as a kitten at a construction site, Jinx lived with a family for two years. He had a close kitty friend, but after his companion passed, Jinx became more withdrawn, and the other cats in the home didn’t get along with him. It was clear he needed a calmer environment away from the other cats.

Despite his shy nature, Jinx can’t resist his love for pets and will come out of his shell with a patient adopter. Once comfortable, he’ll soak up all the attention you can give—especially head rubs—and even climb on you when he’s feeling extra affectionate!

His soft fur and fluffy tail make petting him an absolute dream. He seriously has some of the softest fur we have ever felt! Jinx would thrive in a calm, relaxed home with cozy hiding spots and maybe a laser pointer for playtime. Although he’s wary of other cats, he might do ok with a cat who won’t be in his face or want to play. No young kids or crazy dogs. He needs a calm home.

Is that double trouble I see? Not at all! These girls are sweet, loving, kind, and no trouble at all!
Say hello to Pretty girl and Rosetta, a bonded pair of beauties. And they aren’t just bonded because they love and adore each other, but they are mother and daughter! What could be better!
Pretty girl is gray and white and quick to warm up to you. Give her a minute or two so she can check you out and when she decides the coast is clear she is ready for pets and to purr. Despite her petite size she has a big heart and the kindest eyes. She’ll arch her back in contentment as you stroke her head to tail, walk a few steps away and then come back for more.
Rosetta has a lush gray coat and such expressive eyes as if you can see into her soul. She is shyer than her mom and takes a bit to warm up, but once she does, she is just as loving and affectionate as she can be. In the mornings she likes to lay on the computer desk as you check email or see what our crazy Alaska Winter is going to come up with next. After a few minutes of lounging, she’ll curl up in your lap for a nap.
Both these girls love to sleep on the bed and will jockey for just the right position, one cocooned in your arm and the other by your legs. While you get situated, they will wrestle on the floor and then hop up on the bed. Both of them love toys of course and they are particularly fond of the three-tiered spinning ball toy, laying on their sides batting the balls back and forth.
Pretty girl and Rosetta haven’t been around kids but would probably be fine with older calmer children in a settled home. They love other cats, but haven’t been around dogs before, but a mellow older dog who would leave them alone would probably be just fine. Pretty girl is about 3 years old and Rosetta is just over a year old. Since they are bonded, they must be adopted together and will need a nice yard to go outside during nice weather as they love the outdoors!

Molly is a talkative seal point Siamese girl about 2 years old. She's a sweetheart!

She enjoys to be brushed and is warming up to being held. She loves sitting with you and purring and talking away. She does well with other cats if hey are nice and don't try to make her wrestle with them. She would do fine with a very lazy, gentle dog. Once comfortable in her new home she will come when called (it’s adorable).

Molly is ready to take that next step to a new home, and hoping for a great family to be her very own very soon.

This is Wild Thing. Yes she is. Not wild like crazy wild. But wild like she once was a feral cat and now she loves living in a house with a family who loves her but petting is only when she is ready for petting. The rest of the time she hangs out with her cat friends, watches the dogs do their dog thing. Nap in cozy places, come for meals and snacks. Lives the easy life and is happy.

She has quite an interesting tortoiseshell coat. Browns and black and oranges patterned in curious dapples and dollops. Not so great for camouflage in the house but in an autumn forest, she would be invisible.
Wild Thing is not the kind of cat for everyone. But for someone who is that special wonderful person that will give a reserved cat a chance, the person who knows that love and patience pays off in the most amazingly joyful ways when a 'wild' cat comes to love you and lets you know how they finally finally trust that you are their family.
Wild Thing is probably a little over a year old. Shy, skittish, uncertain with people. But a great friend of all nice cats. If you are her special one, please contact us at 907 980-8898

Sushi is so sot, it's like petting a cloud. Sushi is so soft. A cloud who will be the best friend that your cat could have. There are two boy cats in her foster home and they both love love love Sushi. She is so sweet and so purry that the boys are both happy to share her affections with their people and each other. She is not the kind of kitty to cause problems. She brings peace and comfort into the home when she arrives.

It might take her a minute to adjust to a new place and new people. Her former life, before rescue, was pretty scary being out there all alone in the world. She learned caution. With other nice cats, trust is easy. Humans take longer. But while you are waiting for her to know that you are kind, she will be giving your lonely cat the love and companionship they have been missing.

Sushi will need to spend the winter inside, getting to know and love her family. But when spring comes, she may (or may not) like to go outside in a little yard where she can enjoy the lovely natural world in a safe and loving place.

Hershey is a sleek kitten with a ticked tabby coat like a Abyssinian. He has that long lean lithe look of the breed. (He is not a purebred.) He's about 5 months old and he's ready to stalk your house and yard looking for fun and cuddles and welcoming arms to nap in. He loves other kitties and will need one in his new home. (He says it would be great if his sister could come along). He does well with nice doggos and gentle kids would be fun playmates. When spring comes, he would like to play out in the sunlight and warm grass.

Camper is sleek, velvety boy with yellow eyes. He loves watching youtube videos of bird feeders, playing with toy mice, zooming around the house, and resting on the warmth of his foster family's laptop. He will start out shy but with some time in the right home he will blossom into a very sweet boy. He will crawl onto your lap, purring like crazy and begging for rubs. He's very soft and smooth. And he's very vocal, entertaining you with a variety of meows, chirps, and loud purrs.

Camper is about a year old, and has very good habits--using scratching posts, litter box, etc. However, he is a bit of a fraidy cat until he gets comfortable with you. He's not a fan of wand toys and is a bit head shy. He needs a quiet, calm house without small children or a lot of activity. He does not like dogs, but would LOVE another cat friend to play/bond with.
Camper would be a great addition to a small family that will give him a little time to adjust, then he will be your forever beautiful black panther boy! His foster dad says, "He's a good little dude."

Ozzie is a little sweetheart. He's about 5 months old and so gentle and lovable. He is great with other nice kitties to play with and hang out with. And he does fine with nice doggos. He's hoping some happy family will come for him soon and take him into their hearts and the home.

Snickers is a little adorable kitty. About 5 months old, she is sleek and has the coat of a Abyssinian, that jazzy ticked tabby design.

She's totally lovable in every way. She loves her kitty friends and will need at least one who will be her buddy in her new home. (If her brother Hershey came along, that would be perfect.) She is okay with very nice dogs and a gentle child could be just perfect.

Elvis. He's a simple guy. You don't need a lot of expensive cat beds for him. A box will do just fine.

He's 7 months old and a playful little guy who would be a great buddy with other kitties. And he loves so much to snuggle with his people. He's a great kitty/human best friend and family. He's not a hound dog but he does okay with the nice ones.

Elvis does love food and seems to be trying to make up for some time in the past when it was not so readily available. Or he could just be in a serious growing spurt. But he needs lots of meals and snacks too.

This little boy is ready for a great family who will love him and cuddle him, give him lots of yummy food and who will take him outside in the yard with them in the spring where he can play in the warm grass. In Soldotna. Call or text 907 953-0333

Topsy is wondering where his family is.
He's a shy boy but he is always there to greet you in the morning. He loves head pets and helping with getting everything ready, including breakfast. He is an excellent reminder that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Although all meals are exciting!

He's great with other cats and will need a cat buddy. And if it could be a calm big brother kind of buddy that would be great because he is a shy boy who learns from his friends about people; who is safe and who is not. A playmate cat would be great. But he is good carrying toys around on his own, storing them places to come back for later. Kick toys, stuffy boys, rattles, they are all good. He is very curious so even when he's uncertain about something and acting shy, his curiosity will win out so that he can check it out.

Topsy is handsome short haired tiger boy, about 10 months old, and hoping for a family that will love him enough to give him time to adapt to his new home. He has excellent house manners and does great with any other cats who are nice to him as well as mellow dogs.

He would probably be best in a family without little rambunctious children. A calm household would be beat. Cat buddy and a safe place to go outside in the summer are needed. He's in Anchorage. Please call 907 980-8898

Probie--3 1/2 month old kitten. A little Maine Coonish looking. Cute even with her hair mussed from climbing in the Christmas tree. Fun, loves other kitties and must have a feline friend in her new home. Ok with mellow dogs, even big goofy ones. Loves her people but will be a little shy with strangers at first. Give her a chance--she's just a baby--and she'll be your best little girl ever!

At PETZOO IN WASILLA TODAY! 12-3! Come by and meet this adorable kitten!

Quill is around 5 months old and so full of kitten energy and fun. Not only will she entertain you with her antics, but she loves romping around with her kitty friends. She is good with dogs and will let them know she is the boss in a nice way of course. She has been raised with a kiddo in
her foster home too.

Toys are a must in her new home! She likes a variety of toys to keep her mind and body busy. She keeps herself well groomed and neat and has great house manners. She doesn’t mind being held, but not for too long as she gets easily distracted and must go check out what caught her attention.

This wonderful young lady must have a kitty friend in her new home and a safe place she can
explore outside during the summer. The combination of sunshine, grass and bugs to pounce on
is so much fun.

Camper is a sleek, velvety-soft boy with striking yellow eyes and a big personality once he warms up. He loves watching YouTube videos of bird feeders, zooming around the house, and batting around toy mice. When he’s not on the move, you’ll find him soaking up the warmth of a laptop or curled up in a cozy spot. Camper is also quite the chatterbox, entertaining his humans with a mix of meows, chirps, and loud purrs.

At about 2 years old, Camper has great manners—he uses his scratching posts and litter box like a pro. He starts off shy and is a bit head-shy, but once he trusts you, he transforms into a sweet, affectionate lap cat, purring like crazy for attention. He isn’t a fan of wand toys, but he loves the company of other cats and would thrive with a feline friend.

Camper needs a calm, quiet home without dogs or young kids, where he can settle in at his own pace. With a little patience, he’ll reward you with his loving, playful nature—and become your very own mini black panther.

Introducing Triste and Chandler 🌄 In the quiet hours of the late evening movement can be seen emerging from the light of the day. Moving as one the blend of tan, brown, and black flows together as they move silently across the floor. With the flow of their long hair, it’s hard to tell where one starts and the other one ends. This is how they greet the evening. Triste is the beautiful tortoise shell girl and Chandler is the handsome black boy. They are brother and sister around 10 months old and love to play with their toys and other playful cats too. Triste in particular loves to carry around the soft round toy balls and Chandler has a grand time doing kitten antics on the cat tree. Both have shy tendencies, but they are absolute sweethearts and love to be petted and loved on. Chandler loves to have his belly rubbed and Triste loves her cheeks gently scratched. And nighttime is when their playful nature comes to light as they chase, tumble, and play hide and go seek with each other. These two soft fluffballs would do best in a relatively settled quiet home with no young kids and a family that is willing to give them time to adjust to a new home. They don’t mind a nice well-mannered dog either. Being very bonded they will need to be adopted together. Once they are feeling very comfortable, they will need a safe outdoor area to feel the cushion of grass and explore what nature has to offer. They are in Palmer. Please call 907-980-8898.

Finnegan He's a sweetheart who has waited SO long for someone to want him. We're not sure if he's ever had that but we know that he wants to be wanted. He's trying really hard to do whatever it takes to get a great family to take him home. He's kind. He's gentle. He causes no trouble in any way. He has excellent house manners and always uses his itter box. He is nice to the other kitties in the house and he purrs when he's pet. Okay, so he's a little jumpy when there are confusing things going on. But if only someone would give him a chance! He will be the best boy! He promises. Rosie is an 8 month old kitten with soft long furr and fluffy tail. She is very sweet and a bit shy. She LOVES to be pet and she purrs loudly. She loves her chin scratched and eating treats. We think she prefers a quieter home. She would do well in a home with other cats but we don't know about doggies. CCCR Rescues Cats and Kittens

CCCR rescues and rehomes about 500 cats and kittens a year in Southcentral Alaska from Houston to Homer. We focus on helping those most in need--the lost, starving, injured and feral.
