🎄 Meet Stormy: A Holiday Wish Come True 🎁

This holiday season, Stormy is hoping for the greatest gift of all: a forever home filled with warmth, love, and gentle companionship. Despite her moody name, Stormy is as calm and peaceful as a cozy winter evening by the fire. Her soft tortie-point Siamese coat looks like a sky painted with wintry clouds, and her bright blue eyes shimmer like frost-kissed morning skies.

At around 3 or 4 years old, Stormy is a petite and gentle soul who adores the comforts of home, quiet affection, and the company of kind feline friends. She was rescued alongside other cats who once had a home but sadly lost it, and now she’s ready to start a new chapter filled with love and security.

Stormy would thrive with a friendly cat companion and would love a little yard to bask in the summer sun when the snow melts away.

If you’re ready to make Stormy’s holiday dream come true, she’s waiting in Anchorage to meet you. Call 907-980-8898 to bring this sweet girl home for the holidays. 🎅❤️

Akela is not only handsome, but affectionate, calm, curious, and very social. He’s a cat that will take all the love you have to give him, but preferably in the form of petting. he doesn’t particularly like to be held or carried.

Ideally, Akela would love to stare deeply into your eyes, but will settle for sitting next to you and gazing at you from a short distance if your attention is needed elsewhere. While he can be a little cautious as he warms up to new people, it doesn’t take him long to start purring. He does not mind dogs, and they even may have something in common, as Akela is known to drool a little when he is very happy. He is ok with other nice cats as long as he doesn’t have to compete for food. He is perfectly content to roam the house, look out the window, or find a perch to monitor the goings on of the house.

This darling 2 year old boy is ready for love love love. In Anchorage. Call 720-563-7141

Eska is a pretty blue-eyed tortie-point snowshoe girl. She has very striking markings that give her a unique. Like many Siamese cats she craves attention and love from her family. She will rub against your legs, meow to get your attention and wait for the full body strokes of a gentle hand.

Eska adores her cat bed! Life is grand to her if she has a soft comfy cat bed to lounge in and take naps. She also likes sitting on fleece blankets and staring out the window as the leaves flutter to the ground on these crisp Fall days.

She came from a colony of cats and will need to have a kitty friend in her new home. She is young, around a year old, so she has energy to burn and loves to bat and fling her toys in the air. She is just fine with mellow dogs who aren’t in her space, so she won’t mind sharing a home with a nice dog. Eska does not do well around the antics and noise of little kids, but she would probably do fine with older, respectful children. She will need a safe place to go outside with her family on nice days and then come inside to the warmth of her home.

In Palmer. Please call 907-350-8089. Thank you!

AFTERNOON MUSINGS OF A THOUGHTFUL CAT

Hoomans are interesting creatures. They call to me, make kissing noises and try to pet me. Not sure how I feel about all that. BUT when the other cats gather around and are purring I figure, what the heck, must be okay!

I really like the hooman that calls herself momma. She is kind, gentle and brings the BEST treats. Also, each time I murder another furry fake mouse (really not falling for that being a real mouse) she brings out another one. The smaller hoomas in the house are okay but they can be a bit too loud and make me feel a bit anxious. I have lots of places to hide away and I like hiding in the cat tree or cat cubby. I like to explore the house and have found many places that are fun; under the bed is a great napping place! Doggos are okay as long as they don't chase me. I adore all the cats here in the house! They are all my BBFs! We play tag, keep away and I love it when the hooman momma brings out the laser light and dims the lights! GAME ON!

I'm excellent at bounding up and down the stairs, climbing the cat tree and soon I'll have my rope scratching post all unraveled. The hooman momma says I'm really good at keeping myself clean, using the litter box, playing nice with the other cats and keeping the monsters out from under her bed. I'm 10 months old and I've been neutered, microchipped and am UDT on shots.

The hooman momma says all of this plus my adaptation to living in a house (I was born outside, in a cat colony) and strong cat social skills makes me ready to start the search for my FURever home. I'd love to play outside with my new hooman & feline family! I look forward to meeting you & if you've got room my cousins, Dove & Grouse would love to be adopted with me!

A lilac-point Siamese boy with blue blue eyes, Horton is a big, hefty boy with a kinked tail.

He's a gentle soul. With gentle ways. He loves for his special person to pull him close and kiss the side of his face. But he doesn't like to be held or carried around.

He has lived with other cats for the 7 years of his life and done well. With strange cats, he will need a slow introduction. Dogs are uncertain.

Horton likes to sit in the window and chirp at birds. On occasion he gets a wild hair and races around the house like a crazy kitten. He can get scared easily by loud sounds and will hide out between blankets for security. He has the cutest habit of cleaning up! If litter gets thrown out of the litter pan, he will sweep it neatly in a pile. He's very clean! If there is dirt around the house, he can help with piling that up too!

He would be happiest in a quiet, settled home. He does not like loud noises or chaos.. He does love to go outside and wander around the yard a bit. But he's a homebody who loves his people and the security of being loved every day.

If you would like to meet this sweet gentle boy, please call 907 980-8898. He's in Wasilla.

Meet the many-toed brothers Dipper and Gideon! They are both polydactyl and about one year old.

Both kitties love to play, especially with toys on a wand or string. They love the cat tunnel as well. Gideon is the curious leader and Dipper, not as curious, will follow Gideon’s lead to discover new areas. They were raised with a dog but are not a fan of their current foster’s large dog who wants to know them more than they want to know her! They will do well with a cat tolerant dog. They also did well around small children from their previous home.

Gideon will shelter in a cubby his first night but then becomes the first to do everything. He loves to discover the highest places he can reach and will curiously explore everything. He has short hair length fur and is quick to purr when petted. Gideon does give little love nips when held in your lap. Dipper is a mellow kitty with a 1 year old instinct to play a lot. He adjusted quickly to his new foster home but didn’t want to explore unless his brother, Gideon, did it first. He has medium hair length fur and is also quick to purr when petted. Dipper would rather be playing than held and he will give you scratchy cat toy he kisses to show his affection.

These gray and white sweet boy are ready for a family where they can be adopted together, and can give all their love to their new humans. In Anchorage. Call 907 980-8898

21/12/2024

Handsome young fellow, Bowie, is a blue-eyed lynx point Siamese. He's a hunk of energy and playfulness and so much love.

Bowie is a teenager, just reaching that stage where he is full of so much vibrance and energy. He can race through the house at breakneck speed. He is such a rambunctious young boy, he will need plenty of room to run and climb and play. A good outside area to explore and romp around in is required for him to be himself.

Bowie came to us from a home where there were no other cats but in foster with a couple other cats, he is doing great. He does just fine with the gentle girl cat in the house; with the young boy cat who keeps trying to get Bowie to play is a little intimidating but also interesting. Bowie is such an energetic playful boy, it seems like he may do great with a cat friend to be a companion with, and maybe even a playmate. He is said to be uneasy around dogs after being made to feel threatened by one of the dogs in his former home. So no dogs for him.

Bowie is not a cuddle-me-like-a-baby cat. He is a growing boy maybe a year old who needs family and a place where he can become the fun companion and great competent and respected hunter that he aspires to be. But he does love to be pet and be close with his people. So he's the purrfect fun companion, loving companion, and affectionate companion while being independent and happy to do his own thing when you are busy.

Bowie is a terrific young boy who needs a loving, terrific family. He's in Anchorage. Call 907 980-8898

Meet Jojo: Your Purrfect Sidekick!

Jojo’s days of wandering the streets as a stray mom are behind her, and she’s ready to settle into a life of love, comfort, and plenty of head scratches. This beautiful girl was found with a litter of kittens we assume were hers, but now it’s her turn to be cared for.

Jojo is a playful sweetheart who can’t resist a good cat toy and will keep you entertained with her energetic antics. She’s also quite the conversationalist and will chat with you about her day—especially if treats are involved! Head scratches are her love language, and she’ll headbutt you gently to remind you when it’s time for some affection.

Though she can be a little shy at first, Jojo warms up quickly with patience and kindness. She thrives in a quiet home where she can be the star of the show—this queen prefers a life without other cats to share the spotlight.

If you’re ready to give Jojo the cozy, loving forever home she’s been waiting for, she’ll reward you with endless love and companionship. Adopt Jojo today!

This little guy needs a chance, even if he is shy.

Hallow is a strikingly sleek black cat who is great at doing twists! He's about a year old with mesmerizing green eyes and adorable tipped ears, making him look like a mini panther with a touch of lynx! This handsome boy is looking for a forever home where he can thrive alongside feline companions.

Hallow is social with other cats and truly flourishes in their company. He loves to play and cuddle, making him the perfect buddy for your lonely cat. While he’s still learning to trust humans after his time as a stray, Hallow is already showing his his sweet personality. He’ll enthusiastically meow at mealtime and will sniff your hands, but he needs a patient human who understands that he’s still on his journey to feeling comfortable with touch. Not sure how he does with dogs, but perhaps with a slow introduction.

His foster parents believe in his potential to become a loving lap cat, just like one of their other rescues who took four years to warm up. If you have a gentle heart and a little patience, you could help Hallow reach his full potential.

If you’re ready to welcome a charming little panther into your home, Hallow is waiting for you! He’s ready to bring joy, companionship, and a little bit of magic to your life.

Introducing Falkor 🐉

My name is Falkor and I am looking for a special family. One that is perfect for me and I am purrfect for them. I am only about 2 years old so I have lots of time to spend with the new love of my life.

I won’t do well with little kids. And I would prefer to be an only cat, but maybe another cat that doesn't want to be buds would be okay. I'm not interested in socializing with other cats. I can easily get overstimulated by them and get grumpy. I do not mind nice dogs.

I had a happy life with my owner for the first year and a half of my life. But then he had to move and could not take me with him. He dropped me off at the shelter. I had a hard time adapting there. It was so noisy and all the scary smells......I was so afraid that I became mean and aggressive. The shelter reached out to Clear Creek to take me in. After several months and lots of ups and downs I finally decided maybe other humans were ok. I do not like change and need a patient and understanding family that can give me extra time if I need extra time to get used to a new home.

When I'm happy, like I was when I was with my beloved person before he left me, I was very loving and snuggly. I loved having a special person who loved me and where I felt safe. I'm hoping that there is someone out there who will give me a chance to win their heart because that is what I want most in the world. To be part of a happy family again.

Just one of the wonderful kitties who will be at the Wasilla Petzoo adoption fair Saturday from 12-3, POE is extra special wonderful.

Poe is a long lean orange boy who is a senior. He's seen life and right now, he thinks it's pretty darn good. He is happy to be your cuddle guy or your go-do-your-own-thing guy; he's flexible. He does fine with other nice cats and dogs. And he knows the ropes of how to live in a home without making a mess or causing trouble. Although he can get revved up and act like a kitten at times.

Such an easy guy to love and to fit into a loving home with a human who will be his caring retirement buddy for the rest of his life which could be another decade.

If you're interested in this very nice and fun guy, please call 907 350-8089, OR come by the Wasilla Petzoo on Saturday in early afternoon and meet him there.

19/12/2024

'It's alright now. We got you.' That's what I want to say to this little guy.

But it's really not alright. It's horrible. It's ridiculous. It's beyond comprehension WTH people are doing when they put a zip tie tight on a cat's neck with a note saying 'abandoned, needs a new home'. And if that wasn't bad enough for the cat, he ended up in a trap that someone had set and then left and didn't check the trap. So how long he was in the trap before being found is not known.

So no, it is not freaking alright. It's time for humans to get their heads on straight and do the right thing.

But what is the right thing? The man who found the cat in the trap called the shelter. But Because the cat was found outside city limits, the shelter had no legal obligation to take the cat and so they didn't take it. Fortunately he also called Suzanne with Clear Creek and she picked up this very nice cat in a trap and got the ziptie off of his neck.

So it is alright now. He's safe and cared for and loved. But this kind of crazy situation could have gone south in so many ways.

Please help the homeless, in a kind and rational way.
