Please help us out. We have expanded the training side. The old training side will be used for more kennels and we're still figuring out exactly how to use it. With the new side, we have more space, and we are wanting to do group lessons, perhaps play groups, puppy classes, seminars, etc... and I am interested on knowing what are clients and followers would like.

Yesterday an amazing soul ascended to heaven. We said goodbye to Odin our 14 year old Rhodesian ridgeback. Odin was an extremely sweet, sensitive, gentle and handsome boy. For those that knew me from early on in my Dog Training career, you likely met Odin and especially if you had a dog aggressive dog. He was excellent with other dogs, it didn’t matter the size or their temperament. He was extremely helpful. I did struggle with him initially because he was an avid food thief. He could get a loaf of bread from the top of the fridge. He was able to escape any crate. I hope that he has all the bread he wants to steal now. When he was young, I could not get him tired. I could run him or walk or whatever and he would barely even pant. He became a master couch potato and adored his mom. We loved him dearly. We will miss you boy

Please share if you know anyone that has experience with Australian cattle dogs. Squeaks is an awesome, super smart girl, but she does have a strong personality. She will be perfect for an active family with her as the only dog. if you are local, we will continue supporting you with training. She is already very capable.

NEEDS AN EXPERIENCED HOME

This is our beautiful girl Squeaks. We got Squeaks from our local pound on May 1 of this year, approx 3/4 yo, she has been spayed and has undergone intensive training with the professionals at Proactive Dog Training in Raleigh. We have put our hearts and most of our wallets into this girl but when it isn’t a good fit it can’t be forced. Squeaks needs to seemingly be the only dog and she is unpredictable in temperament so children should not be part of the equation.

Squeaks plays fetch like she’s a pro! She loves herding waves so she a natural beach companion. Squeaks would thrive in a one owner home and she will follow her person to the ends of the Earth. She has been trained in virtually all disciplines and does very well. She is incredibly affectionate and prone to giving hugs. Contact me for more information.

This is huge. Not just a really important study that is not biased or just following an agenda for dog training, but also a light that there are people out there still seeking the truth and not just following a narrative. Thank you so much Ivan and Dr. Wynn and everyone involved in this study. I hope it shakes the ground in a good way.

Controversy surrounds the efficacy and welfare implications of different forms of dog training with several studies asserting that electronic shock collars have negative welfare impacts while not being more effective than non-aversive methods. I hurt my foot so I couldn’t do my typical walk but a bicycle ride was OK. It also gave me the opportunity to teach Jinx how to go next to the bicycle for the first time. It was super easy because we already had the understanding of staying next to me when I say or she can go ahead when free. We did 6 miles without any issues.
