It was a long, cold but fulfilling weekend for the farm family. All of the Southern Comfort team did great at the Holiday Classic. And then to top that we had two perfect calves born. A special thank you to David McMillion for keeping us all fed, Johnnie May for taking care of the calves and Quinard for helping and keeping us entertained.

Reserve high score trail horse

- Woody and Araya
Wins and top placings in the huntseat classes and finishing 3rd overall for the weekend.

- Loaf and Shannon
Top 3 in dressage classes

- Nate and Shannon
Top placings in the huntseat classes and a Reserve champion finish for the weekend

- Levi and Karla
Piloted through some very large classes and did excellent for the first time out with a very green horse.

Top 5 placings in dressage

Top 10 placings in huge ranch classes

We are looking for barn help!

Searching for a reliable, trustworthy individual who can work an average of 2 hours on weekday mornings. More hours can be available to the right person. Chores include bringing in/turning out horses, feeding grain and hay to inside and outside horses, filling water tubs, general barn clean up. Horse experience is a must. We have a wide variety of horses including mares with foals. We offer competitive pay or you can work in exchange for housing or board for your horse. Please PM or text if interested.
