Keller's Kats Rescue Inc. Keller's Kats Rescue, Inc. is a not for profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization. He was rescued by a volunteer that was determined to help save him.

We are a dedicated group working to find suitable homes for abandoned, lost, and surrendered animals in jeopardy of euthanasia in and around Rochester, NY. Keller is completely blind-- the result of an eye infection that was left untreated. He runs into walls, misses the couch when he attempts to jump on it, and thinks the water dish is a bathtub but we wouldn't want it any other way. Keller is pr

oof in miracles. Keller taught us a valuable lesson to never give up, never walk away--even when some people criticize your decision. Our supporters were our strength and guidance. We all--as a team--saved Keller that day and we will continue to save more every day for as long as we are able to. Keller's story has helped to save multiple animals from abuse and neglect. Bonded pair Rosalie and Delphine came to their fosters with their kittens and have coparented, often facing one another while nursing the babies creating a circle of trust and nurturing. Suspected to be sisters (or mother & daughter), these girls don't like to be out of each other's sight. They are a source of comfort and security when feeling skittish and seeing them sit at the window together shows you what we mean when we say a pair is "bonded." They groom each other and curl up to sleep together - their relationship is a thing of beauty. They hope for a home without dogs where they can be spoiled by a special someone while they adjust.

Rosaline is about 2 years old and Delphine is about 1 year old.

We are looking for volunteers to help clean and maintain our cage free 3500 sq foot facility in Spencerport!

Duties include scooping boxes, providing fresh food and water, vacuuming, laundry, and most importantly spending time with our rescued cats and kittens.

We have 2-3 volunteers per shift that clean and most volunteers commit to 1 shift per week that takes approximately 1 hour.

MUST be 18 years of age

Ages 12-18 must be with an adult.
