Puppy Dog Ranch Rescue and Sanctuary A small Mom&Pop 501c3 no kill no cage rescue & home sanctuary founded in 2009 in s/w New Mexico for blind, deaf & special needs dogs. Thank you!
(53)

Your donations are appreciated to help us care for our 20+ rescued dogs living their lifetimes in our home sanctuaries. We are not able to take in dogs or puppies at this time and do not have dogs or puppies available for adoption at this time. We always need donations of dog supplies (no food please), gift certificates and monetary donations to help us care for our 30 senior and special needs dogs living in our home ranch sanctuaries.

June is National Pet Preparedness Month!

Be sure you and your animal companions are ready in case of an emergency. Here are some top tips to help you prepare:

1. Create an Emergency Kit – Include food, water, medications, first aid supplies, medical history, vaccination records, toys and bedding.

2. ID and Microchip – Ensure your pet’s ID tags are up to date and their microchip registration is current.

3. Have an Evacuation Plan – Identify pet-friendly shelters and hotels in advance. Have carriers, leashes, collars ready. Create a backup plan in case you're not home during an emergency.

4. Use the Buddy System – Arrange with a trusted neighbor or friend to take care of your pets if you’re not home.

5. Stay Informed – Sign up for emergency alerts and follow local news for updates.

Being prepared can make all the difference in keeping your pets safe during unexpected events.

Las Cruces, NM -- Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley -- an over capacity KILL Shelter. This sweetie's profile says even though she was no longer wanted, she is a trusting, calm, gentle, affectionate girl (8 yrs old) and will continue to blossom once she's in a quiet, loving furever home. PLEASE call the Shelter -- they kill for space. Please Share!

RAC would like to thank all the people of surrounding communities that have donated physical goods. At this time we are overwhelmed with dog/cat food, toys, etc. and we are asking you to consider a monetary donation instead.

Two great organizations could use your monetary donation in light of the South Fork and Salt Fire. The first being Community of Foundation of Lincoln County and the second being Humane Society of Lincoln County, Ruidoso, NM.

We will have links posted below and thank you for your support!

Our Story

We are a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity. We are open by appointment only. Please call (575) 313-7232. Since 2009 we remain the first and only NO KILL NO CAGE Rescue and Sanctuary in southwest New Mexico. We continue to have a 99% adoption success rate and rely on donations and volunteers to continue to saving and enriching dogs' lives. During the summer of 2019 we will continue our transition from a Rescue to a full time Sanctuary for our 10 small senior and special needs doggies, now located at our Ranchette in Las Cruces, NM. Meanwhile, our Ranch in Arenas Valley, NM remains the furever home for 15 large senior and special needs doggies who have lived their entire lives at Puppy Dog Ranch.

To learn more about us, please email us at [email protected] or call (575) 313-7232 during business hours. Our mailing address is 11611 Dona Ana Road Las Cruces, New Mexico 88007.

We accept donations via PayPal or check, and are always in need of soft, durable beds, blankets, clean towels, toys, gift certificates, supplies and VOLUNTEERS. To see our adoptable dogs, go to https://www.adoptapet.com.
