Legislative Alert - New Jersey Groomers hearing next Monday.

This is the groomer licensing bill that was proposed by Senator Stack (https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/Bills/2022/S0500/182_I1.PDF).

Groomers will be represented by NDGAA, AKC & NJPPGA at this hearing.

Retirement Announcement -

Nancy Han, one of our California certifiers, has decided that after her long, great tenure with the NDGAA, she is ready to retire. Nancy is a very decorated breeder of Kerry Blue Terriers and we wish her lots of relaxation and happiness (Kerries will help grant at least one of those things!)

The Certification is on Sunday June 11th (The AKC online registration will say Monday) that is incorrect but sign up anyways and we will see everyone Saturday the 10th and Sunday the 11th for the workshop and certification.

We spotted an error on the sign up form for the Vernal, UT testing event. The registration form lists the workshop as Sunday but this is incorrect!

The workshop is scheduled for Saturday, June 10, to begin at 8:30a.m.
Practical exams will be conducted Sunday, June 11, starting at 7:45 a.m.

The brilliant Jennie Smith will be your certifier.
