Congratulations to adorable Aero who went to his forever home yesterday! He came in to the rescue as a wee little 3 day old orphan. Our foster cared for him around the clock from that day forward. Now he gets to have a future and provide lots of love to his forever family!

Friday calls for two cats of the day, Sonny and Simba! Here’s what their foster says about them:

These other two orange cats are very playful, energetic, loving as well, they love to sleep on people's legs and they love to play with the laser toys and the string toys too. They're 6 months old and they're both negative for leukemia and FIV. They're brothers. They're always together.

Hi my name is Ruby,
Im a very sweet and cuddly girl. I love sleeping next to someone or being on their laps. I enjoy running around and playing around. I'm also a calm kitty who loves looking out the windows. I like hugs and being petted. They make me purr!

Reuben went home to be a companion to another kitten. He will do fantastic at that because is very friendly and social and loves having other kittens around to play with!

Oswald was pre-adopted at an adoption event a couple weeks back when his new family came in and fell in love with him! He wasn’t quite ready to go home yet so, they used the time to prepare for him 💚

This morning Swiffer went to his long-awaited forever home! His mom pre-adopted him when he was just a wee bottle baby and she patiently waited for him to be big enough to be neutered and ready to go home with her. His new mom sent us the second photo of him cozy in his new home having the sweetest dreams 💚

Happy Friday, Barker family! Meet Jack😻 He showed up in Greer as a stray. He’s uber sweet and we’re guessing he was dumped. This fella has not had an easy go. When he was neutered we found out he was battling pillow paw. For this reason he has to be an inside only cat. We’ve gotten his pillow paw under control at his fosters house but it’s something any potential adopter needs to know could reoccur. A stress free household is what this boy needs. He is also now in need of a full dental procedure that’s going to cost at minimum $900 so that’s our fundraising goal right now. Once his dental is complete Jack will be up for adoption. He is roughly 2-3 years old. He is great with other cats but could also be an only cat where it’s all about him ♥️ If 180 of our followers could just donate $5 for him today we could reach our goal in no time. We’re hoping to get him into the vet next week. Please share his sweet face in the hopes we can raise this money for him and also find him a purrfect forever home. He deserves nothing less. Thank you for helping us help them!

It’s if you’re unfamiliar with our mission we are a 501c3 cat rescue that helps cats in need in our community. We pull from shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. We are determined to fight cat overpopulation by making sure all of the cats and kittens adopted through us are first spayed or neutered. Our adoption fees do not always cover the costs of veterinary care for our rescue kitties so, we rely on donations to help some of the more critical cases we get (kitties that need eye removal, amputations, hernia repairs, etc)

This brother/sister pair were bottle kittens with Barker 4 years ago. They’ve been living in their home happy and loved since they were around 10 weeks old.
Unfortunately, their adopters reached out and let us know that they are having to leave the country. Due to animal travel restrictions in the country they’re going to, they are not going to be able to bring them.
So, these babies are looking for another home to welcome them and love them as much as they’ve been loved their first 4.5 years.
We will not separate them, they’ve been together this long, they will stay together in their next home.
They’re both happy, healthy, and friendly kitties. Their rescue names are Tortilla “Tia” and Salsa “Sal”. The adopters did note that Tia is on a medication for a skin condition that is essentially kitty eczema, the cost for that is around $130 every 6 weeks.
Their current family thinks they would do best in a home with children and no other pets.

It’s crazy how just a few weeks and a LOT of hard work can turn a vulnerable little 3 day old kitten into a thriving little man! Hard to believe his journey with us is almost finished. We can not wait to send him off to a forever family that gets to see the rest of his story through 💚

Aero was found at the airport in a construction zone. Mom had moved all the other babies but, left this little guy behind. Lucky for him, one of our volunteer’s significant other works there and was able to pull some strings and secure his safety!
