Hitter Farrier Services, LLC Welcome! My name is Jason (Jay) Hitter and I was born and raised in the Las Vegas valley. I have a wonderful wife and two amazing boys.

I believe in balanced and level feet, that not all horses are the same and require the same treatment, that horses kept on a timely schedule are healthier and that both mine and my clients time is valuable. I wouldn't be where I am without the good Lord above. I apprenticed under Terrill's Farrier Services for over 3 years learning balanced trimming, shoeing, corrective shoeing, as well as working

in conjunction with the Veterinarians. I then attended and graduated the Tucson School of Horseshoeing to further my education. I now have 11 years in the industry and have worked with some of the top Farriers in the US, including at the Paint World Championship Show in 2019 and 2020. I believe horses should be kept on a routine schedule, as their foot health does matter. I know time is valuable, and that is why I keep a schedule and ask that my clients respectfully keep their appointments and have the horse(s) ready for their appointment. I am passionate about horses and keeping them sound. This is truly a labor of love. I enjoy working on horses in all disciplines, so whether you trail ride, compete or just have backyard pets, I am confident I can keep their feet sound.
