I’d like to take a minute and share with all of of you the reason as to why I decided to go down this crazy career path of becoming a dog trainer. Almost 6 years ago I brought home my first Husky, Casper, little did I know he was going to open me to an entire world that I didn’t even know was an option for me. Soon after entering the dog world I realized that I had a natural talent for working with dogs of all kinds. I wanted to help people build a better, stronger and safer relationship with their dogs. My goal is to help keep dogs from being rehomed or put into shelters because their owners simply can’t find a way to get their behavior under control. I do this by educating the owner and giving them the tools to work with their dog as a team. Fast forward to now and I have started my own training company named after the dog that showed me what I was meant to do. But he wasn’t the dog that started my obsession, she was a German Shepherd named Nikki but that’s a story for another day. Over the years I’ve worked with all different kinds of breeds with all different kinds of behaviors. I don’t shy from a challenge and I am also not afraid to admit when I may need to reach out to those who taught me what I know when I am unsure of the best way to approach a situation. You can rest assured that with me as your trainer I will always be honest with you and give you and your dog 100% of my energy and attention during our lessons.
