Did you know each Petland store partners with a local, state-licensed veterinarian to make sure all available pets are healthy and well taken care of?​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​We always recommend a check-up by a state-licensed veterinarian of your choice once your pet heads home to make sure they are adjusting well, and continue to be healthy and thriving for the whole family.

All pets have four needs that need to be met:

Behavioral - Providing appropriate products and training will keep your pet’s life enriched.

Environmental
Whether it’s a birdcage, training crate or hamster den, providing the appropriate habitat and accessories (bowls, perches, bedding) for your type or breed of pet is essential to your pet’s feeling of safety and well-being.

Maintenance
Taking care of the animal’s grooming needs and keeping its environment clean and well-maintained is vital in preventing unwanted infections or diseases.

Nutritional
All pets have different nutritional requirements and understanding basic nutrition needs supplemented with healthy snacks, treats, and vitamins helps to ensure proper development and growth through all of their life stages.

Safety and the health of our pets are top of mind, feel free to ask any questions to your vet and they will be happy to assist you.
