This is what grief is.
A hole ripped through the very fabric of your being.
The hole eventually heals along the jagged edges that remain. It may even shrink in size.
But that hole will always be there.
A piece of you always missing.
For where there is deep grief, there was great love.
Don’t be ashamed of your grief.
Don’t judge it.
Don’t suppress it.
Don’t rush it.
Rather, acknowledge it.
Lean into it.
Listen to it.
Feel it.
Sit with it.
Sit with the pain. And remember the love.
This is where the healing will begin.

1st Wednesday of each month.

Highly recommended this group. I attended the 1st meeting shortly after saying goodbye to my sweet (and very large) golden-Candy Cane. You can just sit and listen or share stories if you are feeling up to it. It truly is healing to be around others who are also grieving.

IAOPCC Conference attended by Liz and Nancy this week in San Jose CA - Continuing Education Classes, Accreditation renewal plaque (every 5 years) and great networking with people in the Pet Loss profession from all over the world. We have been members of this incredible organization since 2001.

Going to have to say goodbye to my sweet baby girl Candy tomorrow morning. Many of you have probably met my little 90 pound girl when you have been here. Sadly Cancer has taken over her body. Just want everyone to know that I do truly understand how you all feel when you need our services. I'm so thankful for pain management medications that our family is able to have somewhat "normal" days right now. Thank you Hardaway Vet and Peaceful Journey for your Hospice Care and guidance for these final days with my sweet baby girl.

Pickup Service is available for all animals. You may also bring your pet to us (large or small), just give us a call at 406-282-7378 to make an appointment.
