I haven’t wanted to make this post because frankly I’ve fallen in love with him and haven’t wanted to let him go. But, he would be great in a home where he is the center of attention.
He went home with a family the evening of July 12th and came back the morning of July 13th.
(Reason described below in the update)
Originally from 8 weeks old he was owned by a retired Dr and his wife who still love him dearly and have offered him a wonderful start in his training and sweet loving nature. They felt like he deserved more than they could give him.

Update- Izzy went home with a family for a whole 16 hours, 🥹 and he wanted to play with their 8 year old female lab, who also came from Cedar Creek Retrievers, but she didn’t want anything to do with him, so he barked at her to play. The family didn’t want to make their beloved girl uncomfortable in her own home so they decided to bring him back,
and I totally understand that.

Izzy is a great dog! 🐾
Crate trained, patient, he loves to swim, is good with kids, he wants to play with other dogs but would be wonderful as an only dog, he is up to date on everything (vaccinations, and flea and heartworm prevention), he’s had 6 weeks professional training, he does need more training, he does well on a leash but pulls at times, he’s earned an AKC Star puppy certificate, microchipped, intact, and comes with an AKC limited registration and a 26 month (from birth) hip and eye guarantee.
* Must have a fenced in yard, vet references, local, patience, and the ability to love and train a 6 month old pup.

Update- Izzy is sold-
Izzy- Male, 6 months old,
house trained, crate trained.
Good with other dogs, loves to swim. He’s had 6 weeks of puppy
manners/obedience training and earned an AKC Star puppy certificate.
He’s very sweet and soft natured.
Still has a lot of learning to do and a lot of puppy energy.
Up to date on everything and microchipped.
