It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our fearless Founder, Mary Meeks, who passed on Good Friday surrounded by all of her loved ones.
For those of us that knew Mary, she was a strong, resilient, kind, passionate soul who touched the lives of so many with her compassion and unwavering love. Whether it was through her words of wisdom, comforting embrace, or her simple acts of generosity and kindness, Mary had a profound impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her presence illuminated all of our lives in countless ways.
As we reflect on the beautiful moments shared with Mary, so many memories flood our minds; each one being a testament to her remarkable spirit. She deeply cared for all of those around her, for this industry, for pet groomers, and for pets. Starting Nature's Specialties over 30 years ago was no easy feat, but Mary was determined and believed in her product, her mission, and her commitment to the community, and thus overcame the countless hurdles that were thrown her way.
Mary will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Her amazing strength and legacy will continue to shine brightly in our hearts and within this industry forever. We are proud to represent her each and every day as we carry on her legacy and this amazing company that she built to take care of pet groomers, pets, and pet owners alike.
We thank you for your unwavering support during this difficult time. Although this has been very hard for us as her Nature's Family to accept, we find solace in the knowledge that with Mary's strong faith in God, we know that she has found eternal peace in the loving embrace of her Heavenly Father.
