Super proud of these 2 pups out of Penny and Noonan’s first breeding. Evergreen’s Gift of God (Mateo) earned a 201/204 points and a Prize 1 in his Utility Test today. His littermate Evergreen’s The Heart Won’t Lie (Reba) earned a 201/204 points and a Prize 1 in her Utility Test as well! Thanks to Steve Kinzner and Carl Vinke for the hard work and dedication you put into the dogs. William Bastian for helping Steve out! Invitational 2025 here they come!

Bachman Bay’s Notus Swamp (Notus) and Ridgeview’s Storms Never Last (Jessi) Killed it today. “The Lizard” (Jessi) had 4 covey finds and I shot 3 chukar over her points. Notus was on fire with 20+ covey finds and we ended our day with our first Oregon chukar limit over 2 dogs 2 years and younger. The next “A Team” in the making.

Good grouse hunt this weekend. Young Jessi did great and got to retrieve her first wild bird at 7 months old. She had some epic tracks and her first point on a wild bird. She retrieved it to hand like a veteran. Notus had some good finds and ran like a race horse. Gotta love them Bachman Dogs!

Evergreen’s Magnanimous Moose (Moose) in for some polishing before his UT test in September. Here he’s standing steady in the heat of the afternoon. He is looking pretty good with a couple months left to get him dialed in!

Evergreen’s Bannack (Bannack) earned a UT Prize 1 for 191 points this weekend. Hannah Jean Nikonow handled him and did a wonderful job! David and Hannah have done him well and represented Evergreen well! This dog is a beast and is definitely going to be contributing to the breed! Congrats Hannah! Well Done!

Had a great time judging for the Treasure Valley Chapter of NAVHDA. Judging with Tim Otto, Glenn Donald, Amanda Ponti, and Bryan Sappington was a pleasure and the accommodations were top tier! Saw great dog work and wonderful handlers! Thanks to Bob Farris and Chris Clark for setting things up for us Judges!

Ridgeview’s Storms Never Last (Jessi). We just brought her home today from our good friend Steve Kinzner at Ridgeview Pudelpointers. She is out of Reba, the female from our first Penny/Noonan breeding. Her Sire is an exceptional Czech import that is nothing short of absolute power in the field and water. We have high hopes for this little gal!
