The Friendly Trails Youth Leadership Program nurtured, trained and rescued horses and humans alike for 18 years. Creating the concepts of holistic horse keeping and holistic horse training, Alane Freund, the herd, and the youth of the YLP changed the lives of everyone who was touched (two and four legs). Friendly Trails is now solely dedicated to supporting the rescue horses.

Anna played with Crispy (certain of his trainers hate my nickname for him, btw) today, standing on the mounting block, leaning over him. He liked it...hard to believe a few weeks ago we couldn't catch him, touch his feet, or go near his hind end. Now he follows Anna around like the sweetie pie he is.
