This year for our foal watch we will be utilizing a TRAFFIC LIGHT to help show where the Mare is as far as progression. We have many people who watch & ask why we are going in the stall, why she is out of the stall, why we aren't in the stall etc. There is a METHOD TO THE MADNESS of Foaling season. LOL
So on the Youtube LIVE stream, I have added a Pic of the Mare we are watching & her due date in a colored box. The color means what level of watch we have her on. But know mares can be sneaky and jump up in levels then deliver before i can get back in to update the Stream
OUR TRAFFIC LIGHT SYSTEM
GREEN- THE MARE IS IN AND OUT OF THE BARN, WE ARE JUST MONITORING THEM. SHE IS WITHIN THE "FOALING WINDOW" BUT SHE IS TESTING NORMAL & HER BEHAVIOR IS NORMAL.

YELLOW-THE MARE IS MAKING SOME CHANGES & COULD PROGRESS BUT NOT CLOSE TO ACTIVE LABOR. WE INCREASED OUR MONITORING.

RED-WE STOP WHAT WE ARE DOING & STAY CLOSE TO THE MARE. EVERYTHING POINTS TO SHE COULD FOAL ANY TIME.

Good Evening! Those who have been asking about 4H, Equestrian Team and Open Shows......Please send me a message with your email address as we are putting together our Leases for the year, Show Schedule and Ride Meets.

We do have a couple horses available for 4H--BUT those Riders must be signed up with us and 4H by Valentines Day. As our practices will begin in March.
