Miss seeing this handsome face around home but he’s been off at school since November and apparently he’s meeting all expectations.
Side note: Clint (Autumn Playgun) is the sire of Safire and Boon and we are expecting one foal by him in 2025.

The littles got moved to the big paddock with ol’ Bow the babysitter, he’s been our steady guy over the years looking after the littles for their first winter.
This winter I seem to be behind on pretty much everything. It’s been a trying month for us but hopefully we can get back on track as things smooth out. My apologies to people I haven’t gotten back to.

It been a few quiet weeks here as we shift into winter and while it’s been a really strange, wet fall, we know the cold and snow is on its way. These mares are expecting foals in 2025 and we sure are looking forward to seeing the surprises that should start arriving in early May.

Yesterday, we laid the matriarch of our mare band to rest on the land that has been her home for the past 12 years.
This sweet mare has a huge history with Heartland, that began as a donor mare in an embryo transfer program, of which six foals were produced in 2014. In 2017, she blessed us with, what we believe was the first homozygous silver, AQHA filly, Kizz My Silver. We always looked forward to seeing what surprises she had in spring.

Princess leaves a legacy behind that has not only touched and fulfilled our lives and program but other people as well.

Special thanks to C***i for insuring her toes were freshly done.
And to Dr. Cori for easing her way after being her primary vet for all these years.
Huge hugs to Cathy, Jake and Nicole for being patient and indulging me in getting some memory pictures.
