Our Story
It is our goal to leave the breed better than we found it. We strive for health, longevity, genetic diversity, correct structure, correct temperament and working ability. This breed is extremely versatile and shows strong protective instincts, yet is a wonderful family companion that you can live with. Iconic Dobermans is the birthplace of AKC Grand Champions, Performance Titles, IPO3 and Service Dogs.
In 2009 Brandy Billington established von Siegruhm Dobermans with the purchase of Von Schlottke’s Divine Dream. She competed in Schutzhund, IABCA, UDC, UKC and AKC Obedience. Von Siegruhm’s first litter, co-bred with von Schlottke, was bred for IPO/Schutzhund and introduced a single pup, Arson Von Schlottke IPO3.
Von Siegruhm’s second litter was Brandy’s attempt at bridging the gap between conformation bred and working bred dobermans, that showed good health and longevity. She passionately believed the Doberman was meant to do it all. With the B-Litter, Qian Li v Vicaral BN BH ATT CD (co-owned by Victoria Hall) bred to RATCHX5 URO2 U-GRCH / Intl CH / UDC CH / AKC GCH Catawba's Power Play CD RE CGC TKA BH IPO1 RATI CZ8P ROM ATT VCX FO P1 ASCA RN BSA E2A , von Siegruhm was then able to add 2 AKC GCh’s, AKC pt’d and multiple performance titles to the von Siegruhm progeny list. One dog specifically, “Joe”, AKC GCH Int. CH, RBIMBS U-CH, URO1 W186 Livin The Dream v Siegruhm CD RA CGC-A RATI RATN SPOT TKA DN followed in his sire’s footsteps helping put von Siegruhm on the map. Joe was predominantly Owner-Handled through all of his titles by co-owners, Tiffany & Paul Shetka. Two other B - Litter Progeny are currently training on the IPO field.
Around the same time as the B-Litter hit the ground, Brandy with a close friend, Joelle Jacob, imported a Euro/South American show line bitch from Night Fever Kennel. “Envy” UDC CH Mischief N Mayhem Night Fever BH BCAT, went on to be the foundation bitch for Iconic Dobermans. With Joelle playing such a important role in von Siegruhm and the upcoming litter being out of her-co-owned bitch, Envy, it only made sense for Brandy to re-brand the kennel and bring on Joelle as a permanent partner in Iconic Dobermans. The Iconic Game of Thrones litter out of Envy and by CH Eclipse's "Let's Roll" IPO3, CD, BSA-E1A, WAC, AD, ROM, BFL-1 , is currently in the AKC conformation ring, IPO fields and out working HRD at only over a year of age. Iconic Dobermans is looking forward to adding many more accomplishments to their progeny list.
