Yesterday was vet day for the "beans", everyone passed their health exams with flying colors, they received their first vaccine and certification to get ready to start leaving us soon. 8 weeks has flown by but I'm so excited for their new families to meet them

The beans are well into week five now, we have entered the weaning pen. Are using the litter boxes, exploring new objects and toys daily, and eating 3 meals a day, everyone is growing strong as we start to enter the busy week of Christmas.

"Luna" from our apples bundle is seen here during her morning training session with her brother. She then went to greet some other dogs for walks and a social gathering. This is an important socialization time in your puppies development where you should be having puppy training classes, meeting new people and safe socialization with other dogs and new spaces. Creating a confident and well balanced puppy is crucial at this age

The best part about Halloween is its a wonderful way to desensitize the puppies to new sights and sounds. As you can see they were completely unfazed by the costume. It was a beautiful fall day warm enough to venture outside and begin some potty training exercises. Week 5 for the puppies has them venturing all over their play room and now we begin learning the great outdoors. The apples are 4 weeks old and having their first gruel meal away from mom, it was actually quite the dignified, clean meal for the first time out. These babies take everything in stride and await what's next. We will approach the weaning pen over this coming weekend #poodlesofinstagram #poodle #standardpoodlesofinstagram #standardpoodle

The little cubs are in week 3 now, we have started litter box training, today we had baths and blow drying, the rest of the week will be for face shaving and grooming.
