My two boys 🖤
10 years ago when I started this business - strictly training and selling horses, I had no idea that I would find my real passion, teaching the fundamentals of horsemanship with these two by my side.
I always had a nice lesson horse or two in the barn, one that was typically tough to bridle or catch in the pasture and a few that you could always count on for a good buck every now and again.
Never did I think I would be blessed with the kindness and consistency that these two share. I can always count on Presley to tell me how his rider is really feeling and meet them exactly where their strengths and weaknesses lie all while helping them out along the way. Jason is one that really teaches my students to ride. He is not going to walk OR trot without some serious effort put in and he definitely is not going to collect himself up or pick up the correct lead without the proper cues. Nothing comes from Jason for free!
It is hard to believe that Presley,Jason & I have been at it for 7 years together showing all riders of all ages the ropes of the horse world. I am so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have these two in my barn and it is even more difficult to believe that they are 24 and 25 years old.
I am looking forward to the years ahead, slowing their work load and watching them live out their golden years. Here’s to the lesson horses 🖤
