Our emergency weather plans are definitely changing as things develop. As of now, it appears a bad cell will be moving through our service area during our dinner visits. Due to the level of threat our area is facing, we have decided to pause all services during this timeframe and clear our schedule as of now from approximately 5-7pm. Please note, clients scheduled during this time will be cared for outside of this window and Elaine is actively clearing our teams schedules during this time so they can shelter in a safe place. Should we need to adjust this window or extend it, we just want to emphasize that your pets will still be cared for when it is safe for our team to do so. You don’t need to lift a finger or worry! We’ve handled this situation many times and everyone’s safety is always our priority.

Should you be a client of ours that is home with our fur-friends, just make sure you’re prepared. Have shoes, blankets, leashes or cat carriers, and water in a prepared shelter area in your home. I would also put some of their food into a zip lock bag and keep it nearby with flashlights and whatever you feel is necessary. If we can help you in anyway, just reach out to our management team! 937-303-PAWS (7297)

We love you, Maya 🌷 a special note from our founder Katie:

Words have left me pretty speechless today. This sweet girl had been in our lives for over a decade. Today, my management team and I gathered around her as she took her last breaths. I’ve done this for many, because death doesn’t wait for you to be there. It never gets easier... I am so incredibly proud of the women on my team, to come along side me and love this sweet girl when she needed us the most. We’re also thankful for Suburban Veterinary Clinic and Pines Pet Cemetery for their care of her as well.

We’ve been busy and a little MIA from social media. But I wanted to pop on here personally and express my extreme sympathy for the loss of Lexi, Luna, Bella, Max and Duke’s owner.
We take a limited number of cases into our Paws of Hope program where we donate services to those in need of care while undergoing medical treatments that leave them immunocompromised or unable to care for their pet. We do this to ensure the animals are able to stay in their home, and not add more heartache during such trying times. For over a year and a half she was a recipient of our care, and we received the unfortunate news of her passing.
We ask that you join us in prayers for her family during this difficult time, and that her furry loves grieve this loss as best they can.
