Next up in our officer team is our Compliance Chair Chair, Thomas Payne! 🎉 Thomas is a member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Veterinary class of 2027. He is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, and is interested mixed animal general practice. A fun fact about him is that he sometimes plays the ukulele! His favorite part about VBMA is having the ability to meet with and learn from industry leaders and innovators in small groups or 1 on 1 - giving us access to various perspectives and experiences from veterinarians in industry, corporate practices and private practice ownership.

Next up in our officer team is our treasurer, Claire Bingamon! 🎉 Claire is a member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Veterinary class of 2026. She is originally from Houston, Texas, and is interested small animal general practice. A fun fact about her is that she and her family fostered over 150 dogs for 8 years for a local animal shelter, and they only adopted 2 of them! Her favorite part about VBMA is the personal stories from the speakers, especially about practice ownership, since she wants to own her own practice one day. She finds it very helpful and encouraging to hear about the successes and failures and the advice they want to pass on to us to help us succeed.

We have a bonus meeting! The national VBMA team is hosting a lecture over student loans tomorrow, November 8 at 7PM! The meeting will be over zoom.
