This was an amazing engagement session at Honeymoon Island. I just love this couple and am looking so forward to shooting their wedding in November. I was so glad we had this amazing sunset for their pictures! This isn't a bunch of photoshop, the sky really was that beautiful!

I am so glad this family waited out the rain and ended up with a really great sunset. This was the only night they could do the session. It had been raining and we didn't think it was going to happen. The session started in the rain but gave way to a nice sunset. The kids got a little wet but they had fun with it!

Never underestimate the power of a Florida sunset. It can be a cloudy day, a super bright day with literally no color in the sky, a dark ominous sky or it could be raining cats and dogs and at the last second when you think there is no possibility for a sunset, this is what you get. Our weather is so unpredictable. So when we ask you to wait it out and not cancel because the forecast is rain or cloudy skies.....this is why. Hang in there. Our forecast is almost always wrong!
