So Griffin and Macie are home from the vet from being fixed. They are snoring off the drugs. Both ate well and drank water so snore away babies.

I am working with Sheri for three more cuties to come on Friday, weather permitting. They looked chihuahua in photos. No, we are not changing the rescue’s name. ;)

I took Griffin into the vet this morning and warned them he was a terrified dog. They told me that he immediately squished his face in the corner again. Poor guy. He will be happy to see me this afternoon, I hope. Macie puppy mom is being spayed too.

PENDING HOME: We are working with Macie to accept the soft sided crate so she can fly late next week with her new people. They sent this crate to me so we could start Macie getting used to it. In the first shot she is chewing on a treat or bribes work with training this sweet girl.

She also visits the vet to be spayed early next week and flies later in the week. I will also give her a mild sedative for her short flight when she came to us a stray and I do not know her complete background.

This is the mother of the pups that we placed. They are all very smart and charming dogs so I see no problems with Macie going on a short one hour flight.

With Dennis helping me this morning I could finally get some photos of our progress. How fun is that?

She is eating well in either case. She acts like she is the mother to Elsie, Bella and Ena too who were also strays and dump jobs in an orchard near Moses Lake, Wash. Donations, events and our adoptable dogs here!

Our dog rescue is located near Spokane, Wash. Sorry we do not ship dogs.

Visitors welcome by appointment in advance only. This rescue is at the Director's ranch and appointments are always needed so no one gets chomped when the dogs are always playing. Plus we can’t just sit by a phone or in the office all day nor is this a retail location. Our large, mean farm dogs always need to be locked up so no one coming to visit gets to be a snack or tasty chew toy for our larger dogs. Closed Mondays. We always love folks inspecting us when entrusting us with their dogs or volunteering here or visiting when in our area so see our main website for more details on that.
