Members of WSCA(Western Saddle Club Association) Each club has an open horse show every summer. WSCA and MPSCA Rules apply. Classes at the shows are: Halter, Halter Showmanship, English and Western Walk-Trot, English Pleasure, Western Pleasure and Horsemanship, Ranch Horse Pleasure, Reining, Egg & Spoon, Barrel Racing, Poles, Key Race, Jump Figure 8, Speed Dash and others including 2 and 4 rider team events.

**ATTENTION** MPSCA peeps going to Champ Show. If you’d like to stall together as a group please contact Morgan 507-227-8364. You will need to sign up for entries and your own stall(s) (including horse and tack stalls) on or before August 25th. The group stalling form gets sent in after the regular deadline for entries and stalls.

A couple things to take note of:
⭐️ Your qualifications do not need to be on champshow.org for you to enter, as long as you know that you are qualified in the event that you are signing up for, you can go ahead and enter. All classes requiring qualification will be checked & verified by the Champ Show Committee.
⭐️ Horseshowtracker.com auto assigns exhibitor numbers randomly. The Champ Show committee will be auditing the numbers and making sure people that have multiple horses have ample amount of time between horses. *Assigned exhibitor numbers are subject to change. The Champ Show committee will be posting an entire exhibitor number list prior to Champ Show.

3rd Prairie Classic weekend was a success! Photo dump of award winners and random shots.
Stalling chart is shown below. Camping map also shown. If your name is on the list you may park your trailer in that area. If your name is not on the list you may park anywhere else on the show grounds including north of the beef barn. First come first serve. Arrival anytime after 4 pm on Friday. If you have extension cords and adapters you have more flexibility on your ideal spot!
**COGGINS TEST PAPERS REQUIRED**
Everyone must have a copy for every horse brought on the show grounds!! There will be a Vet check per State Of MN Board of Animal Health!!
Attention Prairie Classic peeps!!
Stalling will be in the Horse Barn this weekend due to preparations being done to the Beef barn for upcoming fair.
Priority Electrical Camping will be on the grass on the south side of the arena. (This for show committee and workers)
The stalling chart will be posted sometime on Thursday afternoon/evening.
The area north of the beef barn will be the area for other electrical trailer parking.

Reminder that online preregistration is open until Wednesday July 31st at 5:00 and if you preregister for classes online you are eligible for a door prize over the two days of the shows. ...and it helps our office staff to do this step ahead of time. (we do accept registration at the show also)

All Exhibitors that complete preregistration for classes will be eligible for door prizes and drawing will be held during the shows.

**Food Options for this weekend**
Ole’s Gathering Place food truck will be here for lunch on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday evening meal: MPSCA will be serving smoked pork loin sandwiches and hot dogs for the kiddos. Everyone is welcome to participate and bring a side dish to share. Time will be determined on when the Games and the Costume class is done.
Here is an updated worker list for this weekend, please consider helping out if you’re not showing. Plus it does count as a meeting toward end of year awards if you work!
If you work a minimum of 4 hours each day you are eligible for an electrical spot on the north side of the stall barn. All other electrical hookups are south of the Arena.
We still need a Ring Steward and Gate person for the halter and performance classes each day.

Update since this post: Footings continue to be improved in the arena despite recent flooding in Windom. Please continue to send your prayers for those impacted by the flooding in the area. 🙏
