Our Story
My name is Andy Voris, I work full time at Barrington High School. My wife Michelle and our son George and I live in the village of Barrington.
I grew up in a small town in Central Illinois where I had several jobs in high school including helping on horse farms. When I moved to the Chicago area I started helping a local vet manage a barn in Warrenville, Illinois and also helping my aunt and uncle in Barrington Hills. We moved to Barrington in 2015 so we can enroll my son in better schools and enjoy the Barrington community more. Our travels took us to parts of Utah and Colorado over the past several years and we love those areas but we are so proud to now call Barrington home.
Part of what we love is the scenic roads and rolling hills and the amazing equestrian views. We really enjoy getting to know the people and the animals we meet in the area and we want to offer our services to those who need it.
We know that many of our friends need support for their horses, dogs, and homes when they want to leave town for a weekend, week or more and we know we can help. With a son that seems to be in every sport offered we are often home bound anyway for holidays and long weekends so that makes us availiable. Michelle has worked at the local library but she is now dedicating her time to Barrington Barn Managers along with myself early mornings and evenings and my son when he has the time. As a sixth grader, I am just thankful he enjoys the tasks and the horses the way we do.
