So sorry I have not posted family photos yet! It's always sad to see our puppies go, but so exciting to meet their families and be thrilled for their futures! This group of puppies were beautiful inside and out and so were their new owners! All puppies are sold and in their new homes. Congrats to Edna, Charlie, Bonnie Blue, Boston, and Nellie!!

This is Dexter. A friend got in contact with us about him. He is not a Shiloh Basset, but we would love to help him! It sounds like he is a sweet boy who loves people. His owner had to go into a nursing home and it does not sound like he will be able to come home. Here is what I know: Dexter is 8 or 9 years old, blind, but navigates like a good basset with smell and his other senses. He is up to date on his shots. He is used to being in a quiet home with his owner. If you are close to Marion, Indiana and interested, please let us know. We know who his veterinarian is locally. He was a rescue in 2017 to his current owner. Poor guy. I'm sure he is missing his person. What a sweet face!
It has been over a year since our last litter and few posts in between! Been a rough year losing two of our senior dogs (Fred to our barn fire and Ethel due to age.) Then I was diagnosed with cancer. I've got this! But obviously, I've not done well keeping my page up-to-date! What better time to update when we have cause for celebration! Our Bonnie(out of Fred and Molly) had her first litter today with our handsome Linus! She is an amazing mom!

It has taken me two weeks to be able to make this post. A very painful two weeks. Two weeks ago today, I came out of my home office to find people parked in my drive. When I went out to find out why, I quickly realized our barn was on fire. I tried to get out to it, but could not. It was fully engulfed quickly. It took some time for the fire department to get it under control and the way the wind was blowing, it almost took our house. We were told it was moments from taking the house. All of our dogs in the house were evacuated and strangers graciously loaded them into their vans. We lost the barn. We lost several goats. We lost our chickens. But our biggest loss was that we had separated out Fred because his daughter was in heat. So, Fred was in the barn.It's heart-breaking to just type this. Our family is grieving. We lost Ethel almost 2 months ago and now Fred. He was our first. And if you have one of our puppies, you have a part of Fred. He fathered all of our puppies including our puppies owned by Ree Drummond. He was a true sweetheart. We loved him. Hug your babies for me! Pray for us as we figure out what to do with our property. Insurance money will not be much.We are thankful for a retired veterinarian who has our remaining goats and has been treating their burns. We are thankful for the local vet who came out to initially treat the goats. We are appreciative to the fire departments and their compassion as we were all sobbing over Fred. Our neighbors and local electricians who were driving by and helped me evacuate the house were amazing. They stayed by my side until Kenny came home. Sorry for the heavy post. Pretty sure Sunshine is asking where her family is.😁 This little girl is so fun-loving, ready for an adventure, and sweet! Doing well on potty training and is loving the outdoor play time on beautiful days like today!

Birdie went home to her new family today! They are new to her, but not to us!!! We can't wait to see pics of Birdie with Sulley soon! Love this family, and we adore beautiful Birdie!
Its been a busy weekend here! Yesterday we said goodbye to beautiful Molly Grace! She completely fell asleep in his arms while they were here. She knew they were her people! 🥰

We do have 3 females and 1 male available. We are located near Marion, In. Due to airline issues and changes in the way shipping is done, we would not feel comfortable flying puppies until temperatures are better. AKC, vet checked and health tested, shots utd, and will come with a puppy gift bag. All are 100% pre-loved🥰, and are raised in our home with the rest of our basset-crew, 2 cats and kids. Parents are Molly and Fred(parents of The Pioneer Woman puppies as well). 7 weeks.

It's so blustery outside, I decided to bring pictures inside today. Everything is ready for pictures. Well...everything but puppies. Kenny said they were ready (which means they are not playing...mmmhm.) so I sat on the floor. This ensued in my lap. It's the puppy version of king of the mountain... #picswillwait #puppypicchaos
