APARTMENT AVAILABLE FOR RIDER/INSTRUCTOR in STILLWATER, MN
We have an opening available for an ambitious rider. This is a live in position with some minimal stable work, but majority of the job is teaching, riding and SHOWING. MUST be proficient in hunters/jumpers and at least some background in dressage. I have lots of very nice horses that I'm willing to sponsor you on for lots of show miles. These are FEI level horses and exceptionally nice hunters and jumpers. Fantastic team of awesome, fun people. Shared large 1600 sq ft. apartment space with a private room. Room for board for one personal horse as well. Seeking an aspiring professional who needs a foot in the door. ISO: USED TACK for tax-deductible donation!
The University of Minnesota Equestrian Team needs help form our community! This is a student run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that does not enjoy the same perks of other school athletic programs and is funded in large part by donations.
We have grown exponentially this year and need tack desperately so that all students can participate. Right now, tack is our biggest limiting factor.
Please consider donating your used but usable tack at any of the following twin cities locations:
Pleasant Hills Saddle Shop, Rogers
Pleasant Hills Saddle Shop, Lakeville
Windfall Equestrian Center, Stillwater

We are most in need of:
Hunt saddles 16.5 to 18 inches
54" - 60" leathers
4.75" - 5" Stirrups
Show clothes
Tall show boots
Paddock boots
Half chaps

We will also accept used but usable winter blankets for school horses.

Yoo hoo!!! 👋 WE'RE HIRING!!!

This is a LIVE-IN, position in Stillwater, Minnesota. Tasks include a mixture of some stable work, riding instruction for beginners, and training rides.

This position is perfect for an aspiring or established professional. All insurance, lesson horses, equipment, etc are provided. Room for 1 personal horse as well for reduced board rate.

This is a multi-discipline barn and we're hoping to find someone who is proficient in hunter/jumper but dressage is a plus too. Head instructor Jennifer Collman is a USHJA Certified Instructor, a USDF Bronze Medalist and Reserve World Champion in Western Dressage at the highest level and a Western Dressage Association of America Train The Trainers graduate. Jennifer is the head coach of the U of M Equestrian Hunt Seat Team and also does trick training, bridleless riding, c**t starting and more!

This is a down to earth barn with friendly people and a motivated, fun crew.

Stable work is a weekly stipend
Lessons are $21.50 to $27.50/ hour based on experience. Training rides are variable based on experience.

A great day at Northern Lights Dressage Show! Erin and Diva made their show ring debut together at Training and First Level and ended the day with a 67% in Training 3!!! Rina and Pearl have 1 ride down at 63% and two tests to go tomorrow :)
