We often get asked what modifications we make when we have extreme heat or cold. We adjust to make sure that your fur baby is always safe.
It's important that we take proper breaks in both extreme heat and extreme cold. Here at Dog Nanny, we use the 10/10/10 rule. This is where we go out for 10 then come back in for a 10 minute break to heat up or cool down, then back out for another 10 minutes depending on the length of the visit, the dog's energy level, and your preferences! We personalize our service to your dog's needs. If the temperatures are not appropriate to even go outside for more than a potty break, we will be sure to do enrichment with your fur-family indoors, as well as provide lots of love and attention!
