At Rhodes Collar, we offer day training sessions designed to help your dog become a well-mannered member of your family. Our programs are available in two formats: one-hour and one-and-a-half-hour sessions.

During these training sessions, our experienced trainers focus on essential basic obedience skills, promoting good behavior and socialization. Your dog will learn important commands and manners that will enhance their ability to interact positively with family members and the community!

This is Akela, a three month old Anatolian Shepherd, during an outing to working on exposure to people, different places and leash manners.

The second photo features Baze, a six-year-old lab mix. He is practicing walking past men in a public setting, and leash manners, skills that have been challenging for him. The trainer is actively working to build his confidence.

We'd like to give a huge thank you to our friends and neighbors at Dog Watch Cafe for donating TWO-HUNDRED turkeys to the PNC.

Each year we are happy to provide our clients with an entire Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner, and we certainly can't do that without the generous donations from our local businesses.

Avoid repeating yourself over and over again. Too many commands can confuse your dog and cause them to tune you out. Instead, create a calm environment using your energy and body language to guide your dog effectively. Focus on being present and allowing your dog to understand what you want without overwhelming them.

Remember, less is more! Clear communication makes all the difference. 🐶❤️
