Update from a family who has had a Zelda/George puppy for ONE WEEK:

Morning! Just wanted to let you know our puppy is doing great! After being home one week he’s adjusted so well! He’s super SMART! He learned how to ring the puppy bell to go outside and is already crate trained. He also learned how to sit within just a few trainings. We all love him so much and have decided to name him Moose.

One of my New Year's Resolutions this year is to share more about all of the amazing things that are happening with our Bernedoodle Breeding Program. I always feel like I'm bragging when I share these things, but I'm doing a disservice to our breeding program by not sharing. So here goes...

Any time a litter is born, I always have an eye out for who would make a good addition to our breeding program. This is an extremely complex decision that takes into account many different factors. We look at temperament, structure and health. We look at genetics. We look at coat condition and traits. We look at how closely related the puppy is to probable mates in our program.

I make my preliminary pick or picks and then the testing begins. In the nine years we have been breeding, I have never had a male that I picked tick all of the many boxes....until today. This puppy still needs to go through health testing when he reaches a year of age. His hips, elbows, pelvis, patellas, heart and thyroid will all be tested. Hoping and praying that he ticks these future boxes as well.

Hi Brenda,
Just want to say thank you for what you do. We are having a blast with our puppy (Rhodey). He is from Prince and Zelda litter, we picked him up end of June. He is gorgeous, we so love his browns! We could not be happier; he sure has added a richness to our family and life. So just wanted to say thank you!!!!
