Random update: Never thought CD would get that big. He boops with his nose and paws when you ignore the boop, when he alerts. He is pretty amazing. Picture of him as a baby is from over 2 years ago.
(picture of him laying down) Here he is this past weekend when I took him into Top Shelf. It finally cooled off enough close to 9:45pm for me to walk him over. Here he is wearing a head halti, but leash is not clipped to it. Halti has a clip running from it to the collar. Wanted to see how he did without the vest (vest is not required by law). He did great.
I'm going to miss him Monday when I head to my long-term sub class. Not taking him with me to the school at this point. He hasn't been around a ton of kids and it will be a kindergarten class. Want to see what my class will be like, get to know the kids, before going through the district to get CD (service dog) approved. He has done great when we have taken him into big crowds.
I am taking a timer to remind me to drink, migraine meds, salt packets, glucose tabs and my glucose monitor in the meantime. CD can usually detect issues before I can.
