We have graduated to climbing up a ladder to lay over Joe's back! Charlie is less scared of everything but we are still slower in his training. Both walked up to the gate, let me catch them without grain and very little dancing around!

Tack isn't set up correctly for him but we put the saddle on today and he seems pretty chill with everything.

Halter on in the big pasture in about 10 min for the draft! The QH was way less wary and took almost an hour. Super happy with the results after just 1 time working with them.

I haven't been on here in forever. I don't really train anymore, I do really miss the horses I've gotten to work with. So this page is going to take a bit of a change. I'm starting to work on my communication with my own personal horse. Others might come along too but for now it will mostly be Gryphon!

Rode 14+ miles at Piney River. None of us are ready to trot the whole thing, lol. Figured out that I pick up my right diagonal naturally but have to work to get my left. Saw lots of people, bikes, dogs and kids who wanted to pet Gryphon and Freyja. Lovely weather. Best way to spend Christmas that I could ask for.

Weekend at Mount Rogers! Lots of fun and great riding. The views were amazing! Wild blueberries delicious. Saw lots of wild ponies and a few long horns. Got to spend time with good friends. Couldn't ask for much more.
