I finished this custom made bag just in time to race off to McDonough to braid. I had made one for myself years ago; it’s my own design, using no pattern.
It has features a braider loves! Leather- like waterproof base, tall enough for spray bottles, wide enough for a tool belt to sit on top just under the lid, 2 large outside pockets with a phone pocket & keys clip on one side, extra zip pockets front & back, two mesh side pockets for coffee cup one side, sponge other side. Full zip top, inside pocket under the lid for checks & $ , fully removable snap- in lining, tube pocket for those long pull through, divided inside pocket, standing dividers that section tge inside to 3 parts or fold back to make it one large compartment. D rings outside,adjustable web shoulder strap. Cute ponies in the zip pockets! Organization is key! Made in sturdy indoor outdoor fabric. So much work to make but I love how it came together, I know it’s owner will love it. Now to finish stock tie orders before Lexington Spring braiding.

I burned the midnight oil last night to get these orders out today!

Thank you to all my customers! Horse Show Braiding is slow this winter, but stock tie orders and custom sewing work is steady!

Riding lessons resume mid-March and horse shows will be humming by then as well, so if you need to place an order now’s the time!

No horse show braiding this week means the sewing machines are humming! I've added some beautiful blue stock ties, and reposting some popular patterns and styles.

As usual, all are available in four-fold or shaped style.

Formal whites are now also available in comfortable stretch waffle weave, bullet weave,as well as Manhattan oxford cloth (beautiful white woven cotton) and coming soon, faux silk and 100% silk twill.

The sewing machines are earning their keep this winter! This gator cover was custom made to fit. Having a cardboard cutout of the seat made the fitting convenient! The seat is made of heavy terrycloth - so comfy for the canine companions. The sides are indoor/outdoor fabric. It fastens with triple thick straps with an elastic insert, held by heavy duty velcro. All washable! My client is thrilled!

Love this fabric! This has a crisp feel, makes a nice knot and has just enough pizazz :) Very nice with your grey or rust color tweeds. For informal hunting. Formal whites and flannels are on the cutting table!

A vintage wool coat restored:
This classic wool coat had a lining shredded to bits by time. The buttonholes needed reworking and several places on the cuffs needed a re-weave. I think the buttons are actually wood!
Lovely old coat, now wearable again!
