K9 Battle Buddies K9 Battle Buddies is owned & operated by veterans and their family's for veterans. Stewart and Hunter Air Force Base. We understand because we have been there!

We provide veterans w/service dogs for PTSD & other disabilities w/no cost to the veteran. We have partnered up with Dogs for Heroes, also founded and operated by Veterans, to continue their proven, respected, and perfected training program for PTSD Service dogs here in Georgia. We are based out of Ludowici, GA making us local to our veterans in and around Ft. Our goal is to take a rescue dog that

would be considered unadoptable due to breed and age, pair them with a veteran, and train them to be a service dog. We are not breed specific, however we do prefer PitBulls because of their loyalty characteristic and because they are misunderstood just like a veteran with PTSD. We have lost more veterans to su***de than we lost in the entire war. We are here to reach out and make a difference! This nonprofit transforms rescue dogs into life-changing service dogs for combat veterans with PTSD/TBI—at no cost to them. 🇺🇸🐕‍🦺

Congrats to Akela!!! Thank you to everyone who had interest in given this amazingly beautiful girl at home today she went home with an amazing family that we felt would be the best fit for her. I cannot be more happy about this Adoption. She is already adjusting so well to her new home like that’s where she’s always been!!! And she already loves her two siblings!

Congrats to all of our amazing fur kids and to the amazing families thay gave thrm a chance and forever home💗

I must say I was beyond happy about the home I found for Akela!!! She is going to have such an amazing life💞

Look at these 2 beauties! Reese and Ash are 2 beautiful long haired babies looking for their forever homes!!! Both of these babies are fixed and up-to-date on vaccines. They come from a multi cat home and dog friendly home.

Ash is not a huge fan of being picked up but he adores pets and belly rubs💞 He is neutered , UTD on Vax and all ready to go.

Reese is a girl of perfection!!! She loves belly rubs , being held, and chasing after flies. She has big beautiful green marble eyes that just melt your heart! This girl here is an absolute doll. She is so friendly and so playful if you were looking for that perfect long haired girl then she’s the one for you.💗 she is spayed and UTD

Just look at this stunning beauty of a little lady. She is so sweet and deserves a home to call her own. Sadly this little beauty does have a head tilt and will likely have it for the rest of her life. However she is able to function completely normal. She has been all cleared by the vet 💞 now the only thing she is missing is a warm lap to snuggle up in.
