Ive been a full time professional Pet groomer since 1999. By 2018, I was ready to pursue my dream. This led to the birth of Petnificent. Although I am grateful for my prior jobs, which ultimately propelled me toward my passion, my journey was far from easy. Initially, I juggled a full-time job with running a house call grooming business, leaving no time for family. Realizing that something had to change, I decided to focus solely on house call grooming, attending to 8 to 10 dogs a day.
The peak of the pandemic in 2020 halted my house call services. However, this challenge only reinforced my determination. Thanks to my wonderful clients, I was able to successfully transition to running my business from home. In 2022, I approached a local dog training facility to sublease a small grooming area. After nine months, Petnificent's rapid growth necessitated more space and staff. We secured a remarkable 808-square-foot location at the front of the same shopping center, expanding from our previous sublease in the back.
Today, Petnificent employs five full-time and one part-time staff member. 2 of which are previous co-workers. In the past year alone, we have groomed over 6,000 pets. Thanks to our lovely clients and staff. We have recently been named top 5 Best Pet Groomer in Richmond by . Please vote for us again starting July 10th.
