Meet Esther!

Esther is a gentle and loving 8-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog who was found as a stray. Despite her past, she has a sweet and affectionate nature, always eager for a kind word and a gentle touch. Esther is currently under medical care to ensure she’s in the best health before finding her forever home, so she’s not immediately available for adoption.

This beautiful girl deserves a soft place to land with a family who will cherish her golden years. Stay tuned for updates on her progress—she’ll be ready to share her love soon!

Our first medical case of the year has begun and thankfully Chloe the Calico is already feeling so much better!

This little beauty was found by bank employees who quickly reached out to animal control for help. They believe she was under a car hood when it started or possibly hit by a car, leaving her with severe trauma to her little head. Thankfully the animal control veterinary team was able to treat her shock and pain and Genesis swooped in to take over from there.

Chloe has made huge progress, has fully recovered her mobility and stability, and we expect her head wound to heal perfectly! Plus, she has the loudest motor and loves cuddle time so shes telling us she’s nearly ready!

Generous donors make treatment like this possible for Chloe the Cali. We couldn’t have saved her without you! She will be ready for adoption soon!

Billy is a laid back boy. He loves to be near his people. Billy is a perfect gentleman and keeps a clean kennel when his foster family is away at work and over night. We're wrapping up another amazing year here at Genesis and wanted to tell you all THANK you! This year, with your help, we were able to:

- Save 110 rescues, which were almost entirely pulled from local animal control facilities! ‼️
- Grow to over 5,000 followers to help us share stories of our rescues! 🐾
- Remodel our rescue intake room to make the process more comfortable and sanitary for each new rescue! 🐕
- Nurse Stormy, our sweet doodle baby that came with a severe heart murmur, low blood sugar and flea infestation back to health! 🐕‍🦺
- Trap, neuter and release dozens of barn kitties to help with overpopulated colonies! 😻
- Complete a record 5 adoptions in one day by our fabulous Director! 🏆
- Rescue several litters of puppies including: Wonka litter, Power Ranger litter, Joyful Litter, Christmas litter, and the H litter! 🐶🐶🐶

We are looking forward to another year working closely with local animal control shelters to rescue these sweet souls. 💕 Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your support, sharing, and donations!

At just two months old, Hunter found himself abandoned in a ditch. Luckily he was scooped up by animal control (with his siblings) and quickly found a foster home.
