Well first I would like to say Hello and Thank You for visiting my page. A little history on me is my family raced quarter horses for many years my Father in 95 won with a Mare Called Sigs First Call that ended up winning Champion Aged Mare in the state of Texas. I grew up on the race track was always around farriers and I always admired what a art it is to do. So I started watching and learning but I also did not care for shoeing because in my opinion I felt it really destroyed the Natural Hoof. Now I am not knocking Blacksmiths one bit what they do is a art as well and there are some really great ones in this world but I chose a different route started studying anatomy and the natural wear that a wild horse puts on their foot and I started putting that trim onto clients horses and the difference was absolutely shocking. I was seeing the cracks and splits simply disappear within a few trims on horses that always needed shoes grew a strong callus and the frogs were huge and healthy. So it was then that I knew I was doing the correct trim and then I had to start educating my clients on diets, living conditions and so on. A educated owner makes for a healthier hoof . So I am honored and humbled to be doing what I am doing now to be making a difference in so many Human and Equine life’s is what I strive to do. God Bless JWH
