Training note* I asked for a down in middle position, he blew off that command, but offered a sit. I rewarded him anyway because it is probably too cold to put his belly in the snow and I don’t want to kill the fun in the game.
The training is only as good as the game is fun, so fun with your dog!

Teach your dog the response that you want them to have for every training tool that you use with them. If you teach your dog that something is awesome, they're going to think that it's awesome. If you're feeling guilty for crating your dog and apologize to them when you put them in, then they're going to react accordingly to your emotions.
