Our Story

Hometown Hound was started in 2008 by Jess Parker. She built the business from the ground up to amass a large following of happy, clean pups throughout West Volusia. After much thought and discussion, she passed the clippers to Megan Butler in April of 2018. Megan has been grooming all shapes and sizes of canines since 2005. She is excited to be living her decade-long dream of owning a mobile grooming service. Her best buddy, a rescued boxer named Smeagol, has also joined the family business as “Canine Care Consultant”. Megan and Smee look forward to meeting and serving you and your furry family!
