❗❗❗ IMPORTANT UPDATE ❗❗❗
▪️ March-May 2025 (this year only, due to baby coming soon) there will be no lessons. Lesson horses will be offered for on-site lease in a structured, scheduled format to the most experienced and reliable lesson clients only. If that might be you, you'll be hearing from me shortly!
▪️ Clubhouse construction is well underway and we're looking forward to offering new programs this year!

⚠️ Unfortunately, many years of poor communication from lesson clients, last-minute cancellations and no-shows has forced a change in policy. I would love to continue offering lessons at a fraction of the cost as everyone else around, but need to be fair to myself and my horses. I want kids to have the same opportunities I did growing up, and am now requiring some degree of integrity and responsibility from families. That being said, my horses' needs do not change because: someone is sick, someone has too much homework, its rainy, it's too hot, it’s too cold, someone forgot, someone doesn't have a ride to/from the barn, someone has an appointment they forgot about, someone is out of town and forgot to tell me, etc etc. All the while, I have a wait list of kids wanting to ride and am not being left enough time to fill spots, and am losing money. From Aug 1 forward, we will only be offering a tuition-based lesson program and enforcing a strict cancellation policy, details to follow:
▪️Seasonal, tuition-based lesson program Aug-May
▪️ Regular weekly time slots offered Mon-Fri, may consider bi-weekly schedules to the select few who have been maintaining this type of schedule for a while
▪️$40/lesson, payment for the month due on the 1st of the month
▪️ Lesson structure will remain the same at approximately 1 hour and include: grooming, tacking, 30 mins of ride time, un-tacking, bathing, etc.
▪️Scheduled days off must be disclosed before the 1st of the month and will not be charged
▪️Methods of payment accepted: Cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, debit/credit through PayPal (3% fee applies)
▪️No lessons during summer camp from June-July; no lessons the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas
▪️NO make-up days offered if canceling with less than 24 hours’ notice, few exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis
▪️ If cancelling with at least 24-hour notice, make-up days offered but subject to availability and must be used within 30 days, lessons will not be credited to the next month
▪️NO cancellations due to weather, temperature, etc. Rare exceptions apply, i.e. tropical storms and hurricanes
▪️Indoor or unmounted horsemanship lessons offered on rainy days, extreme heat or extreme cold
▪️NO refunds, but will consider transferring pre-paid lesson plans on a case-by-case basis
▪️In the rare event lessons are cancelled by the instructor, make-up lessons will be scheduled or credited on next invoice
▪️15% discount for paying by semester (Aug-Dec, Jan-May) cannot be combined with any other discount or special offer. Scheduled days off still need to be disclosed by the 1st of the month every month, cancellation policy still enforced
▪️10% discount on summer camp and farm club for regular lesson students
