I like the phrase “seed real estate” I know first hand treating over 50,000 units that there is only so much real estate on the corn and soybean seed. So choose wisely. Fung + Insect + Inoculant is a great base but leaves only room for one more low use A.I. add on. With 10 options on my treater it can be any combination a variety or field needs.

When I speak to larger groups on increasing soybean yields, I talk at length about seed treatments. Many of you responded to my question about what you were using and some of you may have opted not to based off not knowing. I refer to the space on the seed as "seed real estate". I encourage growers to maximize that space! So many great tools in the seed treatment tool box!

As always I encourage growers to plant "treated seed". At the least F & I.

Inoculants are my favorite and deliver consistent results as well as one of the best ROI's.

DUST talc made out of soybeans for seed lubricant planting corn & soybeans. Replaces graphite. I started using it for my treater last year because I’m breathing in the dust all day. Rainy cold wintery April so far. Fun!

Last week before the month of spring is here. With the heated seed shed I will be starting early April corn & soybean treating then I'll start traveling. Set up for drop ship treat send out at my place any brand/kind of corn & soybeans. As always when spring is here my joke is TR Seed Shed is open 23/7

Been busy insulating, sheeting, spray foaming the seed shed this month. Storing seed, chemical, and trying to keep everything warm come spring to treat successfully in early April. Ship in chemical early but read labels on what can freeze and what can’t. Liberty needs to stay warm. Just letting friends/customers store here until it’s full.

After over 80 guesses ranging from 40-93,000 the closest was Marshall Ohe the treater saw 13,702 units this spring. Hard work going box to box but rewarding to give people exactly what they want per box per variety per crop type. Thanks everyone. Hillbilly Steak for Marshall and his bride Mary. 🤝🤘

Wish the 20 degree lows were out of the forecast! Started the treater a year ago. Will Overtreat Corn next week and start mobile treating by end of the week. 💪
