It's officially the first day of summer! Here are a few tips and things to keep in mind to keep your pets safe this summer!

- Make sure your pet has unlimited access to fresh water.
- Make sure your dog has access to shade when outside.
- Take walks during the cooler hours of the day.
- Never leave your pets in the car unattended.
- When walking, try to stay off of hot surfaces (like asphalt) because it can burn your dog's paws.

Welcome to the Kingsview Family Dr. Mac (& Bubbles🫧🤍)

Dr. Mac grew up in Upstate NY and attended Cornell University for vet school. She moved to Virginia to complete two internships after graduating, and fell in love with NoVA. Her special interests include geriatric and hospice care, exotic animals, chihuahuas, and pets with big personalities. In her personal time, she runs a small home zoo and loves reading, baking, and crafting.

In honor of the Fourth of July holiday, Kingsview Animal Hospital will be closed Saturday July 3rd, Sunday, July 4th, and Monday, July 5th, so that staff can spend time with their family and friends.

A very good samaritan found me this morning and brought me into Kingsview. I was found wandering around Alexandria. They cannot find a microchip but I appear well-fed and I am gorgeous!
