Freyja won the lottery and she gets to go to the island with me next Friday. Idunn hates her and is really mean to her, so I’m going to give her a stress free, month-long vacation. She’s going to be so happy!! Sadly, she’s basically a prisoner in the kennel most of the time to keep her safe.

Idunn and Knut succeeded in making some puppies. They are due at the end of August. Puppies will be available mid-October. I do take deposits to hold preferred colors and genders.

We reunited with one of our pups from Magnus’ and Freyja’s last litter 4/2022. He went to a friend in Kodiak, but due to extenuating circumstances needs to come home. We are so excited to welcome him back! His name is Aikuq (which means dog in Aleut), but we will call him Knut (Noot). In keeping with our dogs’ Norse names, Knut is a name that most closely rhymes with the name is he used to. He is Fen’s brother, but not from the same litter… He will be our new stud. He and Ídunn have been getting acquainted.

There is a chance puppies are on the way. This pretty, mischievous girl escaped out of her enclosure into the yard where my stud is this morning and she just happens to be in heat. What are the chances?! I dread winter puppies! If they are coming, they will be here January 2. I will keep you posted.
