🦃🐾 Thanksgiving Pet Safety Tips from Cedar Ridge Veterinary Hospital! 🐾🦃

We’re so thankful for our furry family members this holiday season! To ensure your pets stay safe and happy during the festivities, here are some Thanksgiving safety tips to keep in mind:

🍗 Watch Out for Bones & Fatty Foods: Turkey bones and fatty scraps can be dangerous, causing choking or digestive issues. Keep the human food on the table and treats in their bowl!

🌰 Avoid Toxic Foods: Chocolate, onions, garlic, grapes, and raisins are all harmful to pets. Make sure these stay out of reach.

🌸 Mind the Decorations: Curious pets may chew on holiday decorations. Keep candles, floral arrangements, and other decor out of paw’s reach.

🚪 Secure the Door: With guests coming and going, pets can slip out unnoticed. Keep your pet in a secure area if they’re nervous or curious about open doors.

👀 Supervise Sneaky Snacking: Keep an eye on countertops and trash bins—our clever pets have a knack for finding “forbidden” treats!

We hope you and your pets have a safe and joyful Thanksgiving! If you have any pet emergencies, remember we’re here to help.

Caesar (Royal Caesar Boon)
He’s a neat little horse. He went from cutting last weekend at the American Royal to breakaway practice this week and checking pastures today, and I think Justen Carroll is heeling on him this weekend.
He can be gritty - I love it when he pins his ears cutting a cow…

Mixed Animal Practice Serving Carney, OK and surrounding areas.

At Cedar Ridge Vet, you can expect exceptional medical care for your companions at our rural clinic. We believe in nurturing the human-animal bond with your pet. We appreciate the role we get to play in your pets' health care.

Justen D. Carroll, DVM and Alison Carroll, RVT decided that they had outgrown their mobile veterinary practice and needed a true veterinary hospital to serve the needs of their clients and patients.

Cedar Ridge Veterinary Hospital officially opened their doors in Carney, OK on June 15, 2019. CRVH serves the needs of companion animals as well as our equine patients and livestock. We still make mobile calls and are here for emergencies.

If you have any questions or comments about how we can care for your pet and serve your animal health needs, please contact us today at (405) 865-CRVH (405) 865-2784.
