I wanted my extended family & friends know that last Thursday none of my legs would work. My mama took me to see all the nice Dr's and staff at Dogwood Veterinary Referral Center to make me better. I had ventral extradural spinal cord compression at the C4-5 disk space. The Dr's performed a ventral slot & took out the herniated disk material. It has been a week today and now I can stand and walk on all 4 of my legs. I have to crate rest for 2 weeks & I've been a really good boy at that. It's World Veterinary Day. Thank you to VCA Southwest Michigan Animal Emergency and Referral Center for giving me the best care after the house fire and to Byron Center Animal Hospital for continuing to keep me and my fur family healthy.
