I wanted my extended family & friends know that last Thursday none of my legs would work. My mama took me to see all the nice Dr's and staff at Dogwood Veterinary Referral Center to make me better. I had ventral extradural spinal cord compression at the C4-5 disk space. The Dr's performed a ventral slot & took out the herniated disk material. It has been a week today and now I can stand and walk on all 4 of my legs. I have to crate rest for 2 weeks & I've been a really good boy at that. My Story - Juni ‘Junebug’ The Fire Survivor’

Hello! My name is Juni, (Junior) ‘Junebug’ and I’m a house fire survivor. I’m almost 7 years old and I survived a house fire on August 12th, 2016. Sadly, my mommy, grand-mommy, dog brother and dog sister didn’t survive. I was saved by 2 super brave firemen! I had to have a few surgeries and even though I don’t have ear flaps, I can hear just great! I also lost my left eye but it doesn't bother me at all because my right eye works perfectly!! I had some really bad "ouchies" but now I’ve completely healed physically & emotionally. I have my furever home with my adopted mom, dad, fur brothers & sister who all love me so. Please Like & Share my page, so I can continue to pay it forward by donating pet oxygen mask kits specially designed for our fur faces to all Fire Departments, EMS, etc. so they’re equipped with the necessary equipment to give us the extra boost when we need it most. Hopefully, they’ll never need to be used, but if they do, they have them on board. Love & Licks, Juni
