Wild West Fiber Bunnies Wild West Fiber Bunnies specializes in Satin, French Angoras. We breed for show quality and work to create the perfect spinning fiber. We have added Rex

We breed show quality French and Satin angoras. We have a fiber and yarn store you can find it under www.facebook.com/wildwestyarnandfiber. That is where you will find the fiber, yarn and finished items created from our bunny fluff. Each one of our rabbits are like a member of the family and are treated as such. They are handled by children, adults and subjected to dogs, both large and small. Our

consistent goal is to breed for density, quality and temperament. We do sell some of our rabbits and are working on the less common colors such as dilutes, chins and agoutis (in the dilute colors) as well as Reds and pearls. We are current members of ARBA and our rabbitry is registered as well. We are working on our bloodlines and getting to a point where we can start registering our rabbits and working toward Grand Champion status. Several of our current rabbits have 2 legs, but are missing info on their pedigree, thus are not able to be registered. The quality is there, it's just a paperwork issue. I hope you like looking at our bunnies and keeping up with what's going on in our rabbitry. IF you see an animal you are interested in, please don't hesitate to contact us, we don't always list every bunny that is for sale, and none before 8-10 weeks of age. I prefer to show my rabbits at least once before selling to ensure quality. Thank you for your interest in what we do.

We have rabbits again. French and Satin angoras!

We have two Satin Angora Junior son bucks both are chocolate torts(pictured in this post) I’m excited about the colors they carry.

We have 5 French Angora Senior does, and 1 French Angora Senior buck

We are working on breeding the French Angoras current.

We are teaming up with my friend’s rabbitry so our name will be changing a little as we blend. We will still provide the level of quality to future litters. Nice to be back in bunnies.

We have suspended all breeding during the Pandemic and will begin breeding again once it is safe to do so. Thank you for your understanding. Stay safe and Mask up

We have no rabbits available at this time. We are hoping to get more rabbits within the next year.

27/03/2019

We are planning on having 7-8 litters mid to late April. Will have a better idea after palpation in a little over a week.

27/03/2019

We are branching out to include Satins, Dutch, Cinnamons, New Zealands, Silver Fox and possibly Beverens. This is in addition to my French and Satin Angoras. And considering bring back Holland Lops.

We have taken some time away from the show circuit. We are getting back into breeding and we are also breeding Satin meat buns for show, fur and more. Breeding begins today, so fingers crossed everyone takes and we have a barn full of bunnies next month.

All of us here in the bunny barn are wishing you all a very Merry Christmas 🐰🐰🐰🐇🐇🐇

We have finally got the rabbits settled in to their cages, still working on getting their weather covering up.

We lost a few last night. We still have all 4 French angora does, we are down one satin buck and one satin doe, a Rex doe and my precious Holland lop doe.

Rest in peace my babies

Today we say goodbye to our French herd buck Wild West's Mochie. Between the heat, but mostly the smoke, and his age, he just couldn't make it through the summer.

He will be remembered always through his progeny. And we will continue perfecting our bloodlines.

Thank you for being the perfect first angora for a new breeder. You will be missed.

Our new babies are growing up nicely. We ended up with a tort in each litter! Not sure how we got one in the French, but I'm really happy for it and the two black (blue?)

Our Story

I started this little venture because I was injured and could not longer work. I needed something to help me get around the idea that I would never again work in my chosen profession( CNA ). I started small, and quickly found out that these amazing animals are not only beautiful and provide fiber, but also provided me with emotional support when I needed it the most. Since then we have expanded.

We now breed show quality French and Satin angoras. We have a fiber and yarn store you can find it under www.facebook.com/wildwestyarnandfiber. That is where you will find the fiber, yarn and finished items created from our bunny fluff. Each one of our rabbits are like a member of the family and are treated as such. They are handled by children, adults and subjected to dogs, both large and small as well as cats. Our consistent goal is to breed for density, quality and temperament.

We started from scratch with most of our bloodlines which is why we have not registered any of our rabbits yet. We are hoping to start registering rabbits with the next litter.

I sell most of my rabbits to show homes, but a few that have amazing fiber, but just not the show body, I will consider letting go to fiber homes. Thank you for your interest in what we do.
