A cool trick to know when the catnip plant is at full maturity and ready for harvest,
loaded with nepetalactone (The natural oil that cats react to) is to shake the bud,
and make sure the seeds that comes out are black, with two tiny white dots on them!

When the small purple flowers are almost gone, it is the peak of maturity for catnip.
