As a professional digital photographer, I earned my certificate through New York Institute for Professional Photography September 2009. I received an Award of Merit from President Don Sheff and Dean Chuck DeLanny of New York Institute of Photography. I earned a minor in Graphic Design from Pensacola Christian College December 1998. With over 12 years of photographic experience, winning awards, pa

rticipating as a member of the Franklin County Art Alliance and board over 3 years, working as a Stringer Photographer for the local newspaper, Public Opinion beginning May 2014, and subcontracting for other local professional photographers for sports & weddings, I love to capture the personality of people and creatively produce portraits, share the beauty of landscapes, uncover the details in architecture, and tell the story of the special event. I customize your photo session to what poses, backgrounds, or locations you want. As a teen, I signed up for my first photography class in high school. I got to build a pinhole camera, take pictures, and develop them in a real darkroom. In my large extended family, I was know as "the family photographer". At Pensacola Christian College in Florida, I signed up again for photography classes. It was awesome! I was challenged to use a 35mm film camera on manual mode. I shot with black and white film and developed the film in a real darkroom. Learning the basics wet my appetite for more deeper learning. Well, today, I'm still known as "the family photographer". I love photographing families: maternity, babies, children "school pics", and high school and college seniors. I love making beautiful portraits for families to cherish for all ages and generations. I preserve the present for the future. I also photograph pets, events, landscapes, business head shots, architecture and real estate, and underwater portraits. My style is photojournalistic, lifestyle, traditional, and modern. My editing is designed to make you look your best. It is also creative yet, realistic.

One of my favorite things to do during the fireworks display is photographing them. It's like the flashes of light paint the dark sky.

Happy Solar Eclipse Day 2024! I enjoyed the eclipse with my sons today. The shadows from our hands and colander were shaped as cresents. Normally the light coming through the holes would be the shape of the objects. I greatly enjoyed photographing the eclispe especially. The clouds added so much drama! One picture reminds me of a large black creature with a smile. My Story

After earning my certificate through New York Institute for Professional Photography September 2009, I began serving the public through making unique images that will last a lifetime. December 1998, I earned a minor in Graphic Design from Pensacola Christian College. I got my feet wet in a real darkroom. My photography class caused me to hunger for more camera time. Awards won include: an Award of Merit from New York Institute, several First Place ribbons from the Franklin County Fair, a blue First Place Ribbon in photography from the Franklin County Art Alliance. I served on the Franklin County Art Alliance Board for 3 years. I was a Stringer Photographer for the local newspaper, Public Opinion as of May 2014. Subcontractor for other local professional photographers for sports & weddings. I love to capture the personality of people in my portraits, the beauty of landscapes, the details in architecture, & the story of the wedding day. I customize your photo session to what poses, backgrounds, or locations you want. I preserve the present for the future.
